By unilaterally shutting down all pay equity deals, ramming it through under urgency all before the Budget is driven by the extreme nature of Nicola Willis’s austerity budgets.
Women workers are effectively being paid less to fund tobacco subsidies, more military and landlord tax cuts.
As TDB has warned you repeatedly, Nicola’s budget cuts are extreme and Van Velden has been lining the Union movement up for a beating since she became the Minister.
This attack on all women workers just highlights how desperate this Government have become.
We either fight back or allow this Government to continue implementing an extreme right wing agenda.

Just remember who is paying for all the shit in the next budget ,who is paying big tobacco,landlords, new helicopters, it ain’t the rich,it ain’t Willis and co ,it is the women of Aotearoa who will have taken a step backwards in their earning power who will be poor for most of their working life while the 30 year old van Velden Willis grigg and co will never be poor or have to worry where the next meal is coming from. This will be Luxon’s legacy the coward that broke New Zealand women and there will be absolutely no coming back from this so Luxon and co please just go New Zealanders have had enough of your opaque lying ways .
