Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.
The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird Bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

I referred to Chris Trotter’s https://bowalleyroad.blogspot.com/2025/04/whats-on-label-vs-whats-in-tin.html
What’s on the Label vs What’s in the Tin.
…Upon closer inspection, however, the label on Labour’s tin has the look of something carefully designed by an advertising agency to evoke a powerful nostalgic reaction. There’s a lovely photo of Mickey Savage, the typeface chosen has a staunch 1930s feel to it, and there are numerous references to Labour’s proud history of delivering “social justice” to “working people”.
But the compulsory list of ingredients, set in 8 point at the bottom of the label, reveals something a little different: Democratic Socialism: 1 percent;
Social Justice: 10 percent;
Decolonisation and Indigenisation: 15 percent;
Gender Equity: 19 percent;
Neoliberalism: 55 percent….
This is thoughtful and coming from a long-term left appraiser likely sadly, accurate. I think we have to look to a new group with right-left balance and the appropriate values, practicality, some geniality not craziness.
Like pantomath? –
…is a person whose astonishingly wide interests and knowledge span the entire range of the arts and sciences. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantomath Apparently a rare word and too rare a person, so we all need to try harder to overcome the obstacles against human society amongst ourselves and now AI. which will do our thinking for us, produced by people with more money than feelings of responsibility, prescience; ‘we introduced nuclear fission so what’ etc.
This is interesting – what if we tried this with alcohol would that be similar?
Salt March – Wikipedia
Gandhi’s plan was to begin civil disobedience with a satyagraha aimed at the British salt tax. The 1882 Salt Act gave the British a monopoly on the collection and manufacture of salt, limiting its handling to government salt depots and levying a salt tax. Violation of the Salt Act was a criminal offence.

What? https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/559421/man-found-not-guilty-of-murder-by-way-of-insanity-twice-after-two-separate-killings
This would make a government assassin. Found to be insane at the time and so taking all the blame, then gets off, with big payment for the inconvenience. But, at the end of the (daad person’s) day their demise is not being taken seriously. Another rat gnawing at our hard-won ethical procedures of society.
Louis Theroux’s documentary , The Settlers is going viral on U Tube and other platforms .
I fear that by exposing the vile truth about the state of Israel he will cancelled or worse .
