The Sensible Sentencing Lynch Mob don't know how to spell the word, 'the'.

Advertising watchdog assessing complaints about billboards attacking Green Party

The Advertising Standards Authority is assessing complaints it has received regarding a billboard campaign attacking Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick and MP Tamatha Paul.

Billboards targeting the two Green Party members popped up in central Auckland and central Wellington last week as part of a campaign led by the Sensible Sentencing Trust.

One in Wellington displayed a picture of Paul, also the Wellington Central MP, next to the words “Defund the Police” – a reference to Paul’s recent comments speculating whether some police functions could be taken over by other entities.

It also used a “Vote Green” slogan that was very similar to the party’s election campaign slogans.

The second was almost identical but had “Woop Woop! DEFUND DA POLICE” written on it. It’s likely the billboard was a nod to Paul’s use of Sound of da Police by rapper KRS-One during a DJ set at CubaDupa late last month.

The same billboards with Swarbrick’s profile could be seen in Auckland Central, where Swarbrick is also the local MP.

The billboards initially featured photos of Paul that were used during the 2023 election campaign. The images were later changed after the party and photographer raised concerns about a copyright breach.

Advertising Standards Authority chief executive Hilary Souter acknowledged the agency had received complaints but couldn’t comment further, given its assessment process was ongoing.

The organisation behind the billboards, the Sensible Sentencing Trust, often advocated for harsher crime policy, such as Three Strikes.

The incredibly racist billboards attacking the Greens originated from the Atlas adjacent Taxpayers’ Union client vassal, The Campaign Company…

Firm owned by Taxpayers’ Union boss behind Green Party attack billboards

A digital campaign agency owned by Taxpayers’ Union boss Jordan Williams was behind a series of billboards attacking Green Party MPs.

The signs, which appeared in Wellington and Auckland this week, had to be amended after they found to have used images that breached copyright.

The Campaign Company was hired by the Sensible Sentencing Trust (SST), which advocates for tougher criminal penalties, to create the advertising which was rolled out in Wellington and Auckland.

…here’s the funny thing.

Detective Ani O’Brien who helped lead the Lynch mob against Benjamin Doyle is the General Manager of the Campaign Company…

…so let’s get this straight.

Bussy Busting Detective Ani O’Brien, who is the General Manger of the Campaign Company  launches a character assassination against one Green MP while her Company helps attack another Green MP?

Was this a two for one special or just recreational slander?

Aren’t you all very conserved with the manner in which you are being so easily manipulated by groups that are so connected to the Atlas Network?

How easily played are you people?

  1. It was obvious cashed up political operatives were involved in the large display banners, and a professional graphic production co.

Atlas and friends have the dough to run dirty politics and run hacking and surveillance operations on other parties around the clock.

  2. You would think the Tax Payers Union would be completely down with not having to pay tax to fund the police. They are down with not funding hospitals, schools, lunches and stuff.

  3. I know how to reduce crime. Yes, I do. It’s easy. In fact, it’s far easier than you might think.
    Here we go.
Return all once-were state owned i.e. our-state-paid-for assets, ammenities and resources back to what is OUR state, for us, by us. You must remember; the assets now criminally privatised and used to rort us for the private wealth creation of billionaires and millionaires are ours, not theirs so we take them back, cheers, ta. Electricity is a good one to use as an example. The cost of our electricity is like a second fucking mortgage but should be the cost of a cup of tea. Winter’s coming so think about that.
Cash asset strip the multi-billionaires, the multi-millionaires and the four now foreign ( Australian owned who, it should be stated, are our fiercest primary industry exporting competitors.) owned banks making more from us in net profit ( $180.00 a second net 24/7/365.) than anywhere else in the world with the exception of Canada.
If we still had the agricultural infrastructure of say 50 years ago, you know the one, the one that literally built our AO/NZ and funded the development of our public assets, now privately owned, we could pay urban people a living wage to be happy, have kids, enjoy their families and whanau and be peaceful, creative and best of all, happy. Happy people who feel secure and proud of themselves rarely commit crime.
SO PROVE ME WRONG FUCKERS! You useless cunts, swaggering about in your Remuera wank-mansions with your little chests puffed out sneering down your beaks at the homeless and the unlucky or as you drive about in your pathetic little Maserati Ego Masturbator 1000 with the built in air conditioned hyper heater air-con combo hair style renovators.
Read this by George Monbiot if you haven’t done so already. Is pretty good.

“We live under an ideology that preys on every aspect of our lives: our education and our jobs; our healthcare and our leisure; our relationships and our mental wellbeing; the planet we inhabit – the very air we breathe. So pervasive has it become that, for most people, it has no name. It seems unavoidable, like a natural law.”
    And that’s why crime.

  4. This is what will happen at the next election groups like the Atlas lot will be in full force using their wealth to manipulate and brain wash the NZ voter so they support their right wing racist, misogynist, greedy and bigoted agenda.
