Morals have we got real ones; Sunday ones for churchgoers, pretend ones for use as a weapon against others, or throwaway ones when we’ve got out foot in the door leading to the money?

University of Otago – gutless and has no reasonable principles to stick by. Now if they wanted to do the right thing in the world they would see that their students had better living conditons.

A woman who alleges she was sexually abused as a child by a well-known New Zealand artist wants one of his sculptures removed from Dunedin Hospital.
The grandmother – who does not want to be named – has asked Te Whatu Ora Southern to not move John Middleditch’s 1980 Water Sculpture to the new hospital.,,,
Police have confirmed to RNZ that Middleditch was convicted in an unrelated case in December 1976 of indecently assaulting a girl aged between 12 and 16 and of other indecent assault.

In my mind I want my father back who was killed along with his crew flying a bomber in 1944. Of course he also was trying to kill and destroy, but for a purpose. Then there was the Filipino girl who went mad when used for sex relief by the enemy in WW2. The women have mounted a protest since then to bring this to light and gain acknowledgment, and apology.

But every misdeed or attack cannot be kept fresh or prolonged for ever as has been attempted seemingly, with copyright. And the world continues being often difficult, people can be rotten, but some things have to be forgiven. In this case there should have been a ceremony of sorrow and forgiveness carried out by a mainstream church dignitary along with the grandmother being present and any others sorely injured by sexual abuse or violence.
We all are not as good as we need to be, and also there is a lot of pretence and hypocrisy around sexual relations. Every bad thing should be looked at and apologised for. Let’s apply this principle to Lake Alice and Oranga Tamariki body/baby snatching. They do not do better and deprive the child from relationship building and body contact and loving. That is what is needed badly and would prevent much of abuse even wars!

Many of the warmongers have never had a healthy, loving family experience; instead just learning business methods, passing exams, succeeding at sport – nothing to meet the needs of we complex humans of great potential and unknowable possibilities. And needing a philosophical, ethical and self-repairing ability to our inner self, our ego, that must be learned then practised throughout life. But without it, what we have is our present precocious demigods who absorb learning that suits and never know or deride alternative possibilities – the path less travelled (eg reading the fiction of others’ minds, which as a book, or a thesis, becomes an intermediate fact and may end as fully fledged norms and settled artefacts.
