Is musician and talker and so sharp and ironic that I pick him as the person to follow for at least the next day or two if you can discipline yourself so to do! You can hide from others less curious and interested in seeing the size of the vehicle that is about to run over us, by turning to the mute and just reading the subtitling.

Hah. Blame it all on stupid people, not like ourselves or those who are in positions of power, or scrambling up the ladder (pushing lesser people off it to make way). The answer to this conundrum so deleterious to us! Stop blaming ‘stupid’ people and accept we all have a hand in it, and our parents and grandparents. What we need to do is be a bit humble about that, try and understand them and ourselves too, the veins of unhelpful drives and impulses that push us to irrationality. Rethink how things are done and realise that change is unwelcome, it won’t be simple even when explained plainly along with its advantages, unless it makes money or power for someone.
Lift your mind away to an enjoyable scenario in a book where right triumphs over bad, it’s a holiday for the mind and gives some pleasure, and helps to keep the print media going so we don’t lose all our gains from the past to the fleet-footed internet. Try reading Anne Perry’s near to last book set in 1912 and showing what is happening in 2012 – ‘ The Fourth Enemy’ by Anne Perry. Good thought-through story,
legal aspects, how to pin the b….d down and end his nefarious schemes ruinous for ordinary people in society and ultimately a tattered democracy. A bit highly coloured, made into a film would have a good chase scene, but everyday life these days is verging on fact being truer than fiction eh!!

What about sacking the lot in Wellington, (which isn’t well at all), and getting some other overseas body to run NZAO on basic pay and bonus results decided by us not them, to represent fairly their success?
We could divide NZAO into two entities to be run effectively to suit these two major groupings ie the North Auckland and Auckland city- southern area to south of Hamilton and from Palmerston North to the toe of NZAO. And then go for it being democratic and also insisting on people with the right education in development of business and farming matters, and all citizens can vote once they have passed a scratch test or done a citizenship course. Then see how we are going every two years? Don’t pick on MMP for not solving all our problems as I see every now and then. Those who do can have no understanding of why people put themselves out to fight for it, for very good reason.
