An open mic space like this is a valuable way to surface issues that might not be making headlines elsewhere. With so much noise in the media landscape, it’s great to have a platform where different perspectives can be shared freely—within reason, of course. What’s a topic today that deserves more attention?
The topic is why don’t you name one and why you are concerned and what might happen and what we might do to ease the situation, even solve part of it. There is so much comment in blogs, serious fault finding, complaints yadah yadah, without any further detail.
There’s too much sitting on the sidelines, making wise observations when we haven’t time for that. We’ve had more than 50 years after WW2 where we dropped a nuclear bomb to finish a war, and then one on a little helpless set of islands, Marshall, and during war we gassed etc a lot of Jewish people, and killed a whole lot more in battles, and then Cambodia tried to go back to simple agricultural times and killed a lot of people, etc. and so it goes! Now we are slowly killing off active thought and manual action from despised ordinary people by the great, magnificent minds under control of transitory tech, money systems, novelty, rigid computer programs and now AI. Is that something to discuss or disgust?
So what do you think deserves attention with a very rich field of concerns to choose from eh?? Don’t keep it a secret. Don’t sit on it like hatching an egg until it breaks and turns out to be a smelly bad one. Expose your fine mind to possible criticism – be brave.

Israel sends tanks into West Bank and says fleeing Palestinians can’t return
…..the defense minister said troops will remain in parts of the territory for a year and tens of thousands of Palestinians who have fled cannot return.
…..“We will not allow the return of residents, and we will not allow terrorism to return and grow,”
Earlier, Katz said he had instructed the military to prepare for “an extended stay” in some of the West Bank’s urban refugee camps from which about 40,000 Palestinians have fled, leaving them “emptied of residents.”…
