Better question for her : If we are being visited by a Chinese nuclear sub , why are we stopping our American friends from bringing theirs here?

So what the fuck was the NZ navy doing prancing around off the coast of China? Is this government so craven that they would put us in the firing line just to curry favor with the war pigs in the Pentagon?
According to a MI6 contact, NZ regularly resupplies allied submarines at sea, just not in port as that would breach the “nuclear free” ban. So hopefully no one bumps into any “by accident”.

The legal test firing by the Chinese though does provide media cover for the West’s illegal firing of live rounds on Gazan kids (‘battle testing’). China tests artillery on water, the West drops dumb bombs from dumb planes onto defenseless poor people and then has the audacity to call these genocide victims savages. China builds walls to keep invaders out, that’s how they roll, they don’t go around the world imposing military bases on others (let alone invade 22 countries this century alone), though if they did they would probably be for economic reasons and be cheaper, more efficient and lift the local populations out of poverty along the way.

Now she says we need to spend lots lots lots more.
This trip by a few Chinese ships is either a gift or a poisoned chalice for her. She’ll probably get lots to spend but it may well be at the expense of tax breaks for business, education, health, roads etc.
All the things our population love.
And all she will achieve is a couple of second hand boats and a few second rate fighters that we can’t afford and will be like farting into the thunder in respect of Chinese fire power.
And it will be all 10 years to late.
She may be better off paying for her husband to set up a huge Chinese language school.

Well Winston did open up that box of wino cockroaches on the corporate tax evaders then there is the gold card and no way sunshine for cutting pensions, to name a couple. But as I said he is the exception in the current mess, that doesn’t mean he is exempt for falling asleep at the wheel while on watch. He needs to retire but then there is no one.
