It’s good business stevie. The young educate themselves at their own expense, and take their qualifications to the outer world, so funding universities to be open for foreigners to pay to study here, providing a profit from universities as a business, or at least a near-profit, enough for a slush fund with positions for ex-pollies and their jesters in education – not much competition – their prowess gets minimal scrutiny.
