Our new Minister of Health was president of anti-abortion group, ProLife Auckland – will evangelical Luxon guarantee no MAGA Abortion laws?

The new Hobbit remake has had budget cut backs

Normally we wouldn’t have to ask this, but seeing as the NZ Right are just taking feral Republican culture war talking points whenever they can, and we see how McKee is attempting to bring guns into NZ, we’ve seen this Government agree to America’s latest war, so we now need to ask, seeing as Simeon Brown, our new Minister of Health, was president of anti-abortion group, ProLife Auckland, will evangelical Luxon guarantee no MAGA Abortion laws?

We require a clear statement from the Prime Minister that our abortion laws are sacrosanct and our new ProLife Health Minister won’t attempt to bring extreme MAGA Abortion tactics into New Zealand.

We really do require that.

  1. …This just keeps getting worser and worser…ugh

How on earth did we end up with these extreme weirdos in power …not only weird but absolutely useless at their job…

Brown got in talking about potholes and roadcones…
    potholes caused by National…

Joyces underfunding of essential infrastructure ..ie.. roads…
combined with a dramatic increase in the number and size of trucks on the road because they have a pathological hatred of rail..

Brown got in rubbishing the results of the decisions made by his own party….now he’s New Zealand’s Minister of Health with no experience whatsoever…

Make no mistake …we are screwed..

    Early election coming up…

All opposition parties need to be ready to govern within the next 8 months.

    • The potholes were caused by Labour letting our refinery (built under Muldoon, the last PM with a sensible economic policy, wih our money) be destroyed, which means we barely have fuel supplies for the next few weeks at any time and we can’t get bitumen that won’t fall apart instantly.

        • I see you’ve not talked to anyone involved in road engineering in the past few years. Or do you work for ‘Z Energy’, the company that (as majority shareholder in Refining NZ) shut down the Marsden Point refinery, and then skimmed so many tens of millions of dollars off the top selling garbage Indonesian bitumen that NZTA cut them out of the supply contracts?

      • I think the point is that most eco friendly infrastructure saving and life saving form of transport is rail..but the petrol lobbies have the government’s balls in a firm grip…it’s literally inferred in the article

  2. We’ll be lucky. Clear statements are not Luxy’s forte.
He’ll say, ‘What I can tell you is….’ and then he’ll tell us nothing, as usual.

    • Oh you’re a hard woman, Joy. For two consecutive Christmases the guy has pranced around the place getting himself photographed in pyjamas, and those were consistent sort of statements.

    • Yes, this is the political caption pic for the day too. I said I felt that if these boys really respected Brown, they’d have tucked their shirts in and stood up straight. They think he’s a joke, as we all do.
However, the joke will be on us if he carries out maga policies. People need to be ready to protest and vote this year.
I hope some of these kids see this pic and read the comments.
NZ women need protecting from them.

      • Joy, There’s a good chance that one or two of their mothers may have a word to say about this. Unfortunately, though, Brown isn’t a joke, zealots rarely are.

  3. Pee Wee Brown, as someone who wants to restrict women’s reproductive rights on a religious nutter basis should not be allowed near the health portfolio.

    • Correct, but whoever inflicted PM Luxon upon New Zealand has to be a sociopath who hates us all.
