This is one of the things that show we are under a regime that does not conserve necessary resources like water in favour of a quick buck. South Africa did not become wealthy from freely exporting diamonds, and they aren’t even necessaries to life.
Our governments are pathetic, and talk about managing national finances in the same way as householders’ domestic budgets – that’s all they know or think we know – who are the dopiest? Our advisors are in the pockets of wealthy world-wide predator accounting/management companies; no-one cares to steer NZ/AO in the right direction, more like our ferries, lost in Cook Strait.
