Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

  1. Annoying problem – so everyman moans whines, blames laziness and doesn’t think or understand.

“This site is literally five minutes walk from the supermarket, so it’s just entitled people that just can’t be bothered actually carrying their groceries and think they can just walk off down the street with a shopping cart and just leave it there.”

Did this moaner phone the labelled trolley owner? Don’t know. I have, and advised where, and the s/mkt was pleased to be told. They are costly but such a help with groceries that increase in weight exponentially! Grizzle, grizzle, whine, whine. The same mindset that took a knife to a kid painting annoying slogans on his fence. Deadheads in Kiwiland who first response is to find fault – they are put out, should have everything to suit them. I get p…d off too but I have had diffculties, observed others, and try to understand a bit.

  2. Stop work on that. We can write it off against that fabulous profit we made on the x apartments last year. NZAO seemed hot but the work couldn’t proceed on time and we missed that subsidy the gummint was offering and the demand curve sank because of Covid. So just wrap it and leave it in cold storage. We will wait till NZ becomes a hot topic again and sell it off as is where is. I think the easy pickings have gone for that place – I’m looking closer to Russia now, provided there is still some insurance available and reliable.

This property has been unfinished for 5 years.
