We wish to inform you that a formal complaint has been submitted to the organizers of the ASB Tennis Classic regarding the participation of Lina Glushko, an Israeli tennis player and IDF reservist, in the tournament. This decision raises significant concerns about breaches of international law and the ethical principles that international sports should uphold.
We have requested a detailed response from the ASB Tennis Classic organizers and an apology for the harm caused to the Palestinian community and all advocates for human rights.
