Gaza Strip
Attacks: There are no safe places for the militarily-dominated population in Gaza, who find themselves subjected to airstrikes and other missile attacks on buildings, homes and many essentialfacilities, as well as constant gunfire and invasions by Israeli forces. The Israeli Navy continues to fire missiles, targeting facilities and buildings along the entire Gaza shoreline.
Victims: 23 more people have been killed within the past 48 hours, bringing the total number killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 to at least 45,361. Another 39 have been wounded, bringing that total to 107,803. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 102 and, that of those injured, is now more than 242.
West Bank

Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (including even permit– holders) from entering both the city of Jerusalem as well as Israel, otherwise than for especially–negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded in refugee camp: Ramallah – 05:00, one person was wounded as Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed into the Amari refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – airstrike – 1 youngster killed, another wounded: Tubas – 01:00, Israeli forces, storming the town of Tamoun, fired a drone-launched missile while raiding homes, killing a 17-year-old youth, Rayan Hussam Bani Awda, and wounding one other youngster: Omar Muhammad Sidqi Bani Awda (aged 16).
Israeli Army attack – airstrike – 2 youngsters killed, 3 minors wounded – homes set on fire: Tulkarem – Since 01:00, 24 December – the Israeli Occupation continues to storm the Nur Shams and Tulkarem refugee camps, invading homes, including targeting them with drone air strikes. Three homes were hit, causing the deaths of seven residents: Khawla Ali Abdullah Abdo, Bara’a Khaled Hussein Sheikh Ali, Mahmoud Mohammed Khaled Amer (aged 17), Muhaimin Ayman Majed Al-Akhras (aged 17), Jumaa Mahmoud Jumaa Salem Ubaid, Qusay Amir Ibrahim Akasha andImran Riyad Hassan Haroun.
Thirteen other people (including three minors) were injured in the strikes: Shaza Muhammad Hussein Sheikh Ali, Marah Nasser Hussein Sheikh Ali, Abdul Rahman Allam Nasser Sheikh Ali (aged10), Saif Allah Khaled Yousef Shahada, Bilal Salah al-Din Abu Saadia (aged 15), Abdul Rahman Khaled Ibrahim Nawas, Saed Iyad Jawdat Jitawi, Hussein Wael Hussein Fahmawi, Naaman Mughira Mahmoud Nimr (aged 16), Ihab Muhammad Ashour, Abdul Basit Omar Awda, Rabah Ashraf Rabah Babaa and Islam Muhammad Abdul Qader Hamed.
Of the nine residents taken prisoner, one was used as a human shield. Three homes were set on fire, using explosives, and a warehouse in the Tulkarem refugee camp was also set on fire. Threeroads were bulldozed.
Israeli Army attack – 3 wounded: Nablus – 16:15, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and stun grenades towards people in Beit Furik, wounding three youngsters: Muhammad Samer Malitat (aged15) and two 16-year-olds: Ahmad Jawad Mustafa Hanani and Ibrahim Wajdi Hanani. A fourth person, Laith Hashem Muhyi al-Din Nasasra, was also wounded.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded in refugee camp: Nablus – 23:55, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition while storming the Balata refugee camp, left two residents, Ahmad Munib Tashtoush and Laith Hussam Daoud, wounded.
Israeli Army attack – youngster shot and wounded for refusing to undress: Hebron – 19:30, Israeli troops shot and wounded a 16-year-old youth, Naseem Ishaq Izzat Jaber, when he refused to take off his clothes at an Old City military checkpoint. The youngster was subsequently hospitalised.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Hebron – 20:00, the Israeli military, firing live ammunition and stun grenades in Beit Ummar, wounded two residents: Muhammad Murtaja Al-Alami and Wassim Basem Al-Alami.
Home invasion and demolition: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli Occupation forces demolished a home, as well as a house–under–construction, on the outskirts of Hizma.
Home invasion: Qalqiliya – 08:15, Israeli forces raided the village of Ras Atiya and invaded a home.
Home invasion: Nablus – 13:15, the Israeli Army raided the village of Einabus and invaded a house.
Home invasion: Bethlehem – 03:00, the Israeli Army raided the town of Beit Fajjar and searched a home.
Home invasions and terrorism: Hebron – evening, Israeli troops terrorised children and women while invading and searching homes in the al-Halawa area, south-east Yatta.
Israeli Army pastoral and agricultural sabotage: Jerusalem – 08:00, Israeli Occupation forces destroyed a livestock farm, on the outskirts of Hizma, damaging buildings and bulldozing olive trees.
