Brain drain: New Zealand departures continue to set new records
The number of New Zealand citizens leaving the country long-term continues to set new records, Stats NZ said today.
New data for the year to September shows a net migration loss of 54,700 New Zealand citizens in the September 2024 year.
This record net loss of New Zealand citizens was driven by a record 79,700 migrant departures, which more than offset the arrival home of 24,900 Kiwis.
The figure surpasses the revised figure of 54,378 in the year to August.
Funny isn’t it, if a 1000 kiwis were leaving each week to create the largest migration out of NZ in modern history and the Labour Party was in power, news headlines would be screaming at Labour and blaming them for it, yet National are in power and not a fucking whisper of complaint or challenge over this Government’s appalling economic direction and abdication of responsibility.
The double standards from our mainstream media is one of the the reasons why the Mainstream media are dying.
This mass exodus is National’s problem and they are doing nothing about it.

Well, National are causing the climate to cause people to flee who can see better opportunities elsewhere. They have cratered NZ in the short time they have been in power. People are leaving. I am not sure why this is such a big problem tho. More will come. Hopefully not from England.

They have said that two Indians are worth one Chinese, and encouraged employers to make this country an outpost for the sub- continent of India, and our hospitals staffed with Filipino nurses, with buses and taxis driven by off-shore newcomers, and roads “ cleaned” by diverse-empathetic contractors, and then there’s Chorus, the ubiquitous Chorus. And higher education hijacked by asphyxiating ideologues inimical to academic freedom and the benefits and necessity of encouraging original thinkers and problem solvers. I wouldn’t be in any hurry to discourage immigrants from England when we are being assimilated by cultural traditions and baggage, and often an ethos, very different from those still evolving here. The politicians have their own bolt holes, but most of us don’t.

Fine if they are Doctors and Nurses but we already have a surfeit of those nationality that have come from their own fucked up countries and still think their way is best. Then for some stupid reason we put them in management here so they can fuck us up as well.

The average house price is around $ 800,000…which is one of the highest in the world …we have the highest paid realestate agents in the world…and yet …we are a low wage economy where most people live pay cheque to …go figure???
Add to that, the average house is a crappy box of rubbish…so not worth anything like the asking prices…not even close.
The pyramid scheme casino, expolited by out of country immigrants, were shut out by Labour’s changes…National and the Coalition of Chaos have redangled the carrot, but…few takers…the party’s over…even they realise that!!

Was at a Maternity Ward recently. Amongst the nurses, doctors and security staff we only met New Kiwis. Either we don’t train enough locals or we don’t pay them enough or they are incentivised by debt to work for wealthy humans in places like Dubai and Florida. Or all of the above. A system not in reality actually designed by an invisible hand. Political choices from woe to go. Sorry family, Im an economic migrant this countries fucked, see ya.
The reason it’s not screaming headlines is because apparently the NZ media naturally has an inherent left wing bias its all red radio and polls that show journos mostly vote left 😉

The country is struggling with over population and they want us to allow more people to come .Where will the water ,schools ,hospitals ,jobs and houses come from .Above there was a comment how it kept house prices up but the down side will be lower wages which equales lower house sales and prices .
In previous generations it seemed that the development project was to turn undeveloped countries (Trump called them shithole countries) into developed west like countries. Now it seems like its turn the west into shithole countries.
