Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.
The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

Bad news on bad news. Can this government and political administration start delivering effective systems that work for all of us in a positive and caring way? Any fool can blunder on with trainwrecks following buswrecks and cyclewrecks. Can we have better fools please.?
The thinking amongst us know that we all have foolish pretensions and concerns, but knowing that we can learn and think around them. Can we have better learners and thinkers please?
How to stop a coup.
1/ Inspiring heroism of citizens prepared to risk it all for their democracy, before the coup can become normalised.
2/ Immediate mass protest and strikes confounding the armed forces,

Ms. Ahn Kwok-sak, 35, was a TV host and later a spokesperson for the Democratic Party of South Korea.
Ahn snatched gun from special forces during the defense struggle at the National Assembly last night. She loudly rebuked the soldiers for pointing guns at citizens.
Snatching gun is a very dangerous act. She must know the seriousness of the matter, but she has risked her life to defend democracy.

On the night of the failed coup Metin Dogan, a mathematics teacher, became a national hero. He faced down soldiers at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport, going as far as to stand in front of tanks to prevent them from moving.

When someone from the middle class, aiming for excellence and obsessed to achieve and win, is driven to death, virtually, that is bad. But there are important tragedies everyday which occur and are ignored or quickly forgotten, and nothing done to rectify the situation, the cause. I say FTT that we are being farmed in Kiwiland. There is not a camaraderie amongst us, a respect for the individual and his/her gifts and talents in general,
I feel sorry about somebody’s problems every day, about people who deserve to have a life to live and be fulfilled in doing so, and are appreciated just for being good people working in the community. Can we spread our concern, kindness and encouragement to all including people who are under the purview of a coach, or say a herd manager? And stop putting winning in sport as the height of human achievement; there seems a clique of sports devotees with a hard-man/woman drive that overrides intellectual power that need to be looked at askance. We should look to see if we have any kindness and interest in others left in our national larder, or are the cupboards bare?
