Here we go again – government hypocrisy on steroids!
It’s appalling but not surprising to see the New Zealand government condemn Iran’s attack on Israel while refusing to condemn any of Israel’s inflammatory actions designed to provoke Iran into a wider Middle East war.
Israel’s deliberate provocations to create a wider Middle East war include:
- The assassination of Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr in Beirut
- The assassination of Hamas Leader Ismail Hanniyah who was negotiating a ceasefire agreement with Israel. The assassination took place in Iran in a flagrant breach of Iranian sovereignty
- The Israeli missile attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria which killed several top Iranian officials
- The “exploding pager” attack in Lebanon
- The Israeli assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut
- Israel’s ground invasion of Lebanon
“We are used to government hypocrisy in condemning every act of Palestinian resistance as terrorism but refusing to condemn Israel’s wholesale slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza or Lebanese civilians in Lebanon but latest this government tweet is hypocrisy on steroids,” says PSNA National Chair John Minto.

Government will take the “hypocrisy” critique every day of the week because it hides what they really are – a slave state of the USA. We do not have sovereignty or democracy or freedom or a mainstream media with the kahunas to report this reality.
Will we wake up in time to not obediently buy into government’s call to arms in servitude to our master in the not to distance future? Will we wake up to the lies that our media spreads like confetti in service to this reality!
In order for New Zealanders to be bigger than our unprincipled, cowardly government and its mainstream media mouthpiece, New Zealanders have to be informed. We are a long, long, long way from this. Step one to our road to redemption, urge Kiwis to turn their backs on NZ’s mainstream media machine. Independent media is vast in scale, full of potholes admittedly, but the good (serving the interests of the people) vastly outweighs the bad (serving compromised interests similar to MSM) nonetheless.
Bottom line being, no ordinary person wants war but with large scale war now looming in the Middle East, war still raging in Russia/Ukraine and the drumbeats of war growing in our neck of the woods (against China) we have to say no more. We have to rise up under the banner of peace. And we can only do this if enough of us are informed. Information really is king – we need to grow the ranks of the informed!

Iran has the right of self defence? No civilians were harmed in this (actual) special operation, and humanitarian and international law was upheld (there are reports Iran even notified the US of the operation). Isn’t Israel the one invading countries, invoking the media’s favourite question, ‘where will they stop’? If the West stopped supplying weapons of mass destruction and shit stirring in the Middle East then we would probably have peace?
Correct ,the only reason this is continuing ids because the US are flying in plane loads and ship loads of weapons daily to Israel .Stop that and the shit stops and lives are saved and they then have to sit down and talk about the way forward .But I fear it is too late for that to happen as Israel has massive stock piles and the US WONT ASK THAT THEY RETURN THEM
