I love this bit from Chris Trotter as he lets himself go about the nutty hyperbole that cringe-makers of the wealthy and their sycophant journalist buddies brought up about Rogernomics and the essentialness for having a palace coup, even though we didn’t have a palace. But they were closer to the top people than the workers, right. And communism and socialism were sneaking under the equality thing which was a Bad Sign along with Unions.

The authorities used to hang people quite often. Don’t think that vicious punishments are over and that they won’t come for us all if we don’t hang onto the decent society and make sure it’s kept clean, not pure white – just okay.
