The They/Thems are tearing the Greens apart

Wow…

Darleen Tana files legal proceedings against Greens

Darleen Tana is seeking a judicial review of the Green Party and its co-leaders as the independent MP faces the party-hopping legislation potentially being used against them.

…Darleen Tana has gone full woke grievance with this stunt.

To attempt to smear the Green leadership in this manner is just so unacceptable.

I’m going down to the High Court to cover this fiasco at 10am and will report back later today.

    • Have you seen who is next on the list to enter parliament if Tana goes?
Yes Nathan….this is the best they have when you look at who is standing in line for the next gangreen list MP.

  1. The party has stacked it’s ranks with women, when they said a 50/50 split was what they wished, what is it now…80/20 women dominated?
This is delicious karma for the gangreens, women causing all of their angst and turmoil. (One american, 2 maori)
    Who would have guessed that?!
Bring the popcorn, this is great entertainment!

  2. I’m rather enjoying this Green Party fiasco it clearly demonstrates why no one should vote for them, they’re a disaster.Watching Chloe Swarbrick on television news with the head nodding Mexican behind her was embarrassing for the Greens revealing their pretense at politics.
I’m not a fan of Darleen Tana but am forced to admire her courage to put up a fight.I don’t think she will win but she will definitely cause damage to the Green Party.

  3. Good on you! Reporting from the coalface. Does she have the Greens over a barrel for unfair dismissal? It can only be an employment dispute because nobody voted for her. She represents no one as an MP….she’s a bloody list tag along. Folks, MMP and the current list system sucks!

    • Ah yes, as opposed to say the great system of (entirely party affiliated) electorate MPs like Todd McClay, whose campaign was financed by his dad stealing from NGOs and parliamentary travel grants, or Winston Peters, who even from his first election the high court ruled relied on a unlawful interpretation of electoral law to get into parliament.

  4. Why am I not surprised .This is just another nail in the coffin of this party in its present form. They are an out of touch social party not the environmental party they started out as.

  5. It is a whackadoodle effort alright–trying to stop a main stream political party from holding a constituted meeting of its members–imagine trying that on Natzos, Act, NZ First or Labour!

Tana seems an opportunistic spinner of the first order, and if any Greens had doubts about booting her from Parliament they may change their view now.

All parties need to pay more attention to candidate selection in terms of their bona fides and what happens for non disclosure etc., the other parties will likely be thinking today–whew…glad it is not us.

  6. There is a real scramble going on at Green Party Hq. Their feelings, their politics, their kaupapa, their lived experiences, all mean absolutely nothing today. Today they face the law. Obscure and seemingly unimportant subsections of their constitution will be held to the light by the most dry and humorless eyes in the country. The actions of the party will be judged not by their well meaning intentions or their petty jealousies.
    Should be fun.

  7. If Tana loses, and is kicked out of Parliament by the ‘waka jumping law’, it will be fascinating to see the ramifications of victim blaming, I have no doubt Tana will play the maori victim race card, the maori party will agree with her and call the gangreens despicable and racist…..ohhh dear –
Looks like two of the most racist parties in parliament are heading for a head on crash over ‘racism’, now isn’t that worth having a beer and some popcorn at the ready??

    • The Greens have always been a rubbish party that only exists as a “protest vote” for the disillusioned/disenfranchised (which are growing in numbers as the major parties continue to fail their voters). I don’t think anyone with a functioning brain votes for them on purpose. It is a party of chaos and destruction, which is fortunately mostly harmless until someone is crazy enough to give them any sort of power.

    • It doesn’t have to be GRIEVANCE grifters, just grifters in general – yourself included in your own special way.
It’s the way of it. And from where I currently sit in SFO, Koiwois are better at it than most that currently surround me

  8. Interesting! A lawyer on the radio this was adamant the Tana had no chance…as good as zero. Chloe will be stomping her angry teenage feet and sticking needles in her Tana doll. Hahahahaha I’m loving this.

  9. If ever a husband /boyfriend/partner see’s the look on the face of their better half that Darleen has in that photo of her ( especially those mean eyes) ,,, then get out! ,,, or at the very least sleep with one eye open ,,, because she means you harm and there is trouble coming your way :0

  10. The main political concerns impacting most people today are:

    The health system

    The energy crisis

    The cost of living

The cost of housing along with rates, rents and insurance

    Crime and climate damage

Yet, as the Government continue to drive forward their agenda, the Greens are too caught up with the Darleen Tana issue.

The Greens have no chance of becoming the lead opposition party until they fully get on to these issues.

Can somebody please tell the Greens how pathetic, out of touch and useless they have become.

      • Thanks, Climate Womble.

Here is a way the Greens can regain control of the narrative and rebuild their green and social branding.

The party should start up a home solar instillation service. Using the profit from those that can afford to pay full yet completive prices to help fund those that can’t.

Green Power would be a fitting name for the project.

Showing voters they can actually walk the talk and deliver something worthy while in opposition.

  11. It all looks like the nasty mean girls picking on Tana who has switched her pronouns back. It’s hilarious to see the implosion because the Greens like to lecture everyone else. Their hubris is monumental.
