The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

Chlöe Swarbrick says we’ve been doing everything that we can to stay focused on the kaupapa that’s in front of us, in order to uphold people and planet
When asked if he was doing enough in being the opposition to the Government, Hipkins said this year was about “listening”
Last press release from Chlöe was August 14.
I post more than her and it’s not even my job.
Doing everything we can she says? Yeah right.
Power prices are soaring, companies are going bust as a result and jobs are being lost. Yet, to date, not a word about this from the Greens.
The government will likely give away more permits than it sells at auctions every year from 2026.
Some market. More giveaways than what is auctioned.
What a joke.
The move will likely see carbon prices rise, which could flow into higher petrol, electricity and gas bills.
Oh yay! Just what voters want. Hell no. But, at least we can assume the Greens will be happy.
You guessed it. This recent move is another issue that the Greens have yet to speak about.
And I thought Green issues was their thing.
Doing everything they can they say. Ha
Are we getting value for money when it comes to our opposition?
Who do you rank as the best preforming opposition party? And why?
NZ/AO is being run along business lines. We are still trying to press the levers that we originally thought connected government to us and still we are not realising that these are just stuck on to a background to give the impression government as we expect it is still there. We need to act as shareholders and demand better returns from our investment in this entity, or mass of maggots.
We really need to hold a realistic picture in our heads of what we have – think of the shining teeth on the disappearing Cheshire cat in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Here is more for the confused or bemused.
What is the Cheshire Cat in Lewis Carroll’s description?
The Cheshire Cat is a character in Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” While interpretations of the character may vary, the Cheshire Cat is often seen as a mysterious and enigmatic figure. Oh good. Government can start behaving like a business at last which it must if it is the efficient move we have been told. Here is a business with problems ripe for government to step in and buy up the shemozzle at a bargain price, deduct tax owing and other commitments, and probably get all its assets for nothing.
Then gummint can admit that the housing situation for the low income people is not being served by the business interests, in fact it is otherwise, it is business uninterest and we people have been hurting personally not just in our portfolios, for a long time.
Go for it now you well paid smart arses, and stop being asses. Show us how a sharp bunch of people trustingly elected by citizens who really haven’t got a clue, can and will do when they have a chance to shine.
