Wishing for a simpler past without all these infernal new gadgets that threaten to turn on us and obliterate us – a dear dream. There is no going back – increased weaponisation, lessening of humanity, caring and spirituality and the outrageous effects of desire for power, monetary and material or spiritual, or all three, and climate change battering and volatile, capricious human behaviours will constantly arise to whittle at every small good outcome.
The fine people who continue making small community interactive and respecting groups which have practical and reasonable laws and guidelines (essential but not too many), with not too many hindrances, will enable frequent joys and regular satisfactions, but in shorter lives, and be the flower of humanity.
Changing a tap washer and looking for a diagram of parts as I have a separate metal washer – does it go next to the seating or not? Still going but here is a report from Master Plumbers being helpful about leaching from taps of metals such as lead. Is good to utilise good services from responsible authorities!
