Today PSNA sent the following self-explanatory email message to Parliament’s Speaker Gerry Brownlee.

Kia ora Mr Brownlee,

We have noted media reports that the Palestinian keffiyeh is now a banned item of clothing in parliament’s public gallery. 

This is an outrageous and untenable. 

Does this ban include the Jewish kippah, the Turkish Fez, the English bowler hat and the Mexican poncho?

Or is this shameful discrimination reserved for the Palestinian victims of Israeli genocide? 

Please respond urgently.

    • Henry F. One used to get colonialist hats free from church porches, but grabbing one from a passing Green on a bike could be a not unreasonable option now, or wear a bird’s nest like Dr Elizabeth done.

If you’re not careful they could replace the Parliamentary prayer with “ Danny Boy” sung in Gaelic with time-lapsed translations. What next ? Compulsory sausage rolls and shirts busting out all over ?

    Kindly ban bare feet, sox with sandals, Greta Garbo spectacles, Hyena laughter, cultural appropriation from Enid Blyton’s Noddy, and chewing gum as banned in Singapore. Hands in pockets while speaking are sufficiently ethnically slurring to warrant being tossed straight or otherwise into Wellington Harbour.

    Just look at the number of Indians you are trying to sign up to your own party .
    Are you going to ban head wear at National party conferences in the near future .

    • You do not seem to like Indians do you.They work hard and are not usually involved in crime and look after their children so what is not to like.

      • Having worked with many Indians over the years looks are only skin deep .I have seen abuse of their women in the work place by Indian men .I have seen exploitation of fellow Indians by their country men .
        Back in the day they were as you describe but sadly over the last 15 years that standard has dropped for the worse .
        I know some very respectable indians but have met and worked with some mongrel ones as well .
        When one fucks you over you will see what I mean .

        • I have workers with plenty of white men and Maori men who fit your description of a bad person.In all cases it is a minority so why tar them all with the same bush.That is a racist attitude

          • yes I am racist when I point out the exploitation of indians and pacific people by fellow indians and pacific employers .The majority of the exploitation cases is clearly by indians exploiting indians .This is NZ we dont need this shit coming to our country .Hell i was told by a young Indian fellow who was trying to buy a dairy shop how he discovered a cartel that was being used ti inflate the turnover of shops for sale to then on sell to fellow indians .They would funnel stock through the shop that was for sale which was infact stock for upto 10 other shops .This inflated the turn over which then collapsed once the new owner took over .

The filth who Brownlee is serving are just as happy to murder white men- as they did when they bombed the USS Liberty to try and get the US to nuke Egypt- or when they got the US to invade Iraq for them, as they are any other human being on earth. Brownlee is a traitor to his people.

  8. I’m happy for the Greens to wear their keffiyehs… but only every 2nd day… every other day they must wear Indian Feather Headresses to show solidarity with the oppression of indigenous native north American first-people.

    • And National and Act can wear their night wear, white sheets with holes cut out for their eyes.

    It is not MPs who are not allowed to wear all these things.

    It is those going into the public gallery, you have always had to hand in: any bags you have, any scarves you have, any hats! End of Story.
