“The family ask for privacy at this time. Funeral arrangements will be advised in due course.”
Martin was a musical genius and Pink Frost and Heavenly Pop Hit are two of my favourite NZ songs of all time.
Thank you Martin, God speed Comrade

What a lose. And well before his time. Gees you almost don’t know what to say. .
R.I.P Martin. You helped get me through the 80s with music that is remarkably timeless and relevant.
While it might surprise some I used to listen to them back in the day & are disappointed at his early death. I wish his family & friends all the best as they adjust to the loss.
I’ll miss the almost annual press releases that proclaimed that the latest player line-up in whatever new reincarnation of the Chills then existed finally represented the sound combo that Martin was wanting from the very beginning.
My brother suggested I may like this web site. He used to
be entirely right. This post truly made my day. You cann’t
imagine simply how much time I had spent for this info!
Thank you!
