I’m a class leftist, I believe the true demarcation of power in a liberal progressive capitalist democracy is between the 1% richest + their 9% enablers vs the 90% rest of us.
I believe in Broadchurch common ground, the Woke believe in pure temple expulsion through inclusion virtue signals.
I believe woke middle class identity politics is counter productive for two main reasons.
The first is that it is impossible to get to the 51% majority required to win and hold power by alienating everyone who are dismantled by the intersectionist wheel of grievance but most importantly, Identity Politics over Class becomes dangerous when white people start believing they are the victim.

Feelings are open to manipulation, reason, logic, better articulated arguments where the 90% benefit is our journey to electing an economic revolution at the ballot box.
We need to be kinder to individuals and crueller to corporations.
The move to the right by white voters in Europe is a direct consequence of the flood of migrants mainly from Africa and also the Middle East and the islamification of white Christian society. So, yes, an increasingly proportion of Europeans are seeing themselves as being in danger of becoming a minority in their own countries and blame liberal immigration policies. They find reassurance in the nationalism of the right. Disagree with them as much as you like but their lived experience is as valid as anybody else’s.
Liberal immigration policies appear a trigger in France, as we speak. And yes, the lived experience of those feeling threatened by this ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity. Nationalism the political solution? History repeating?
The lived experience may be valid but it needs unpacking. They are unlucky to be mainly workers trapped in the working and middle class because their ruling classes can’t make capitalism work anymore. So they are turned into fascist fodder like the Ukrainans blaming foreigners instead of their own ruling class and the imperialist hegemon for destroying their futures.
What is needed is a clear view of the road ahead where we unite as workers and bankrupted petty bourgeois individuals into one class to remove the common enemy and create a society where we can collaborate and cooperate to prevent crash into into chaos and oblivion.
A lot of people are skeptical of workers uniting because, you know, race class, gender, religion, and specieism. What is their solution, roll with the dice and end up as a mass of zombies in some future disaster movie.
The 90% that bomber talks about is made up of the ordinary workers and small businesses living off their labour. We need to stop being enlisted in culture wars that mask the ongoing class war and start fighting that war.
In Aoteroa the basis of wealth is stolen land. Everything is rooted in that fact. Lets make the unions the basis for organising workers and small farmers to take back the land, expropriate the banks, renationalise energy production, transport, social services, health etc. and make them all answerable to a Workers and Small farmers Government.
THe 10% parasites, gentry, hangers on and mercenaaries will go into overdrive to smash us so lets prepare to stop them destroying our future by building a social movement they cannot defeat.
I look to Maori to lead this social revolution since before they were colonised they had thousands of years experience of life in collective and cooperative societies where production was for use and not personal gain. Of course the white setters at some point in the past shared a similar history an may recognise a strong shared past in common.
Maori however, have a living culture where the past represent the present and the future. So lets elect them, along with all women, who have a long history of reproducing egalitarian social life, to the leadership of this movement, and put the divisions that separate us and defuse our potential power, and therefore our survival as humans, into the bin.
So who caused that immigration, Peter? Was it an Arab or a Muslim leader who ordered Bush to invade Iraq? No, it was Netanyahu who said “If you take out Saddam, Saddam’s regime, I guarantee you that it will have enormous positive reverberations on the region”.
The removal of ‘israel’ will have enormous positive impacts for the entire world, not just Palestine and the wider Middle East/
I would say it’s the flood of immigrants COMBINED with a lack of social support for all concerned – which is the perfect neoliberal/identity politics creation to cause a rise in the far-right.
First you cut social services and have a policy of maintaining an underclass, then you bring in a large amount of people with a different skin colour and zero wealth to ensure social services reach braking point AND THEN you tell people who complain that they’re racist.

Not really. It’s mostly the result of about 15 years of committed lying about all and everything by the right. Migration is barely 1% of most of Europe’s actual issue, or New Zealand’s. But it’s the anvil topic used by the middle-right to cynically pervert politics and by the far right to enrage disenfranchised, desperate, uneducated or similar people.
Even the notion that Macron, Starmer, Ardern are puppets of some global order aspiring shady group is straight out of fascism fantasy to poison politics and drive people towards loud speaking, hard words type politics, i.e. the (a bit further than moderate) right. And from there it’s easy to legitimise anti-migrant, anti-youth crime, anti-indigenous rights topics for nefarious reasons, including keeping the population enraged and distracted from racism, division causing, wealth gap widening plans of the right.
To frame any of this as addressing migration as being a solution to almost any bigger issues in society shows that a person is the intended audience of the above.
Unfortunately many on the Left keep pushing, they can’t help themselves.
