International Day of Action for Palestine – 17 February Aotearoa joins in across the country

Palestine solidarity supporters will be marching with millions of others around the world tomorrow demanding Israel cease the wholesale slaughter of Palestinians as directed by the International Court of Justice.

It’s been a week when the New Zealand government has finally begun to criticise Israel after four months of refusal to condemn the killing of over 28,000 Palestinians – mainly women and children.

The marches are demanding our government:

  1. Condemn the Israeli slaughter and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians
  2. No attack on Rafah
  3. Reinstate funding for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinians
  4. Call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza
  5. Withdraw from the war on Yemen

Details of the protest events across the country are on our Facebook event page here (with the basic details below)

  1. I did not see on this website a single image of the bodies raped and mutilated by your terrorist friends. Why the double standards?

  2. If Hamas surrender and turn over all the hostages the war would be over. So who doesn’t want a ceasefire now?

    • If Netanyahu didn’t help create and then heavily fund, Hamas, this may have never have happened. Too right I heart People. And please, don’t upset good pal Benjamin with ceasefire lingo…you know as well as anybody that genocide is the name of this game. Lots and lots and lots of I Heart People Tears for the two of you to enjoy, after all.
