Nationwide protests again this week in 20 centres across New Zealand

New Zealanders are continuing to protest after almost 100 days of Israeli slaughter of Palestinians – with rallies, marches and vigils in 20 centres across the country this weekend on an Internationals Day of Action for Palestine. (Details are at the end of this advisory)

Israel is killing as many Palestinians each day now as it did in the opening days of the war.

Meanwhile the New Zealand government hides under the dark shadow of the Israeli/US genocide in Gaza.

There is no sign of any moral considerations by Prime Minister Christopher Luxon or Foreign Minister Winston Peters.

Neither have uttered a single word of criticism of Israel but in the last two weeks have met online with the US facilitator of genocide Anthony Blinken, signed up to the US-instigated statement condemning attacks on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea (with no acknowledgement of the reason for the attacks) and condemned North Korea’s transfer of arms to Russia but said nothing about the US transfer of arms to Israel for the apartheid state to continue its slaughter of Palestinians.

The government has also remained silent on South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice which began yesterday.

New Zealanders are stepping up where our government is failing the country.

  1. Yet Baby Ru’s killers walk around without a care in the world.

I’ll wait for protests against child killers in New Zealand…

  2. Western Govt’s. and the gutless EU in particular, support the Israeli butchers with their silence and non action to assist the Palestinians being subjected to genocide and ethnic cleansing. Along with thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians, Journalists, UN and other aid workers and medical staff and Doctors have been blown to bits too.

All power to the millions around the world that have shown solidarity to Palestinians and call for a Ceasefire and Free Gaza.
