When Israel has killed as many civilians in a month that Russia has killed in almost 2 years of war – what do you call that exactly?

There is a grim milestone looming for the West in terms of total hypocrisy.

In barely a month, Israel has managed to kill as many civilians as Russia has in nearly two years of war with the Ukraine.

As of September 10, 2023, 9,614 civilians were reported to have been killed during the Russian invasion of Ukraine that began on February 24, 2022. Even prior to the war, fighting took place in eastern Ukraine between the Ukrainian Armed Forces and separatist forces supported by the Russian government.

This brings the overall death toll since October 7 to 9,488 Palestinians, including 3,900 children.

Russia (of course) is a war criminal for that deplorable civilian damage, and yet Israel who has killed almost as many civilians in that time is our good friend who has to commit these war crimes because you know, antisemitism.

When Russia kills civilians, they are the evil enemy who must be stopped.

When Israel kills as many civilians in a month as Russia has in nearly two years? Oh they are our righteous Ally defending themselves.

We should be collectively ashamed by this hypocritical double standard.

The only winners are the Military Industrial Complex.

  1. I’d call it conditioning. We are conditioned/led, mainly by our media, sometimes in tune with Govt also, we are led to believe in this and that. And this and that never collides with this, that and the other, thus double standards and hypocrisy never gets a chance to enter our mind. The winner in this endless dance is always the powerful, often spearheaded by their Military/Industrial/Intelligence machine.

  2. The IDF butchers and Israeli State are losing credibility all round the world at large pro Palestine solidarity marches and gatherings.

    If US Imperialism turned off the cash and arms tap, Israel would be gone by lunchtime. They have had 75 years to make peace with the Palestinians and establish a state where all are welcome–but they chose not to.

  3. Their leader, to find support, in his failing leadership, we will eradicate Hamas, that is a impossible, why ideal, ideal, never eradicate, as you. Bugger, ideal!s, on both, who, us, humanity, and, TWO sTATE, that these infiltrators deny.

  4. Maybe it is because the Ukraine military is not using human shields when resisting the Russian invasion.

    Basing ones military under an urban environment and provoking an invasion is not responsible governance.

    • Ditto bombing above ground when you know full well that your target is below ground. Twisted governance all-round I would say.

      As for the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Locating your military within civilian areas is common place for Ukraine. I don’t need to say anymore than that given what is taking place now in Gaza.

    • Maybe it is because Gaza is a small place so there is not much distance between the Palestinian people & the Hamas people? Israel is making the claim about human shields whenever they destroy innocent people yet they never provide any of the information they use when selecting their targets so it is most likely a case of they think there are some Hamas fighters in a location so they attack it and make excuses afterward.

  7. Israel will never be held accountable, they’ll just scream antisemitism and ask Uncle Sam to back them up.
    Zionism is Facism, end of story , We have been reminded constantly of the atrocities committed by the Nazis for nearly a century, yet no one can criticise the Israel Zionists for their war crimes and atrocities.

    Israel deserved to be shunned by the world just like South Africa was during apartheid.
