Palestinian missile attacks:

Dozens of missiles were fired towards, and across, the Green Line into Israel.

Air strikes: From 08:00 on 25 October until 08:00 on 26 October, Israeli war planes continued to strike homes, including apartment tower-blocks, service facilities and many other targets over the whole of the Gaza Strip enclave. Another 271 deaths have raised the number of fatalities to 8796. A further 676 people have been wounded, now bringing that total to more than 22,219.

Restrictions of movement: Since midnight, 7 October, Israeli Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on access movement in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Israeli military attacks: From 08:00 on 25 October until 08:00 on 26 October, the Israeli Occupation‘s military positions on the Green Line have targeted farmland and homes, as well as many other public areas all across the Gaza Strip. Israeli gunboats have been firing missiles at sites along Gaza’s shore, also opening fire on, and pursuing, Palestinian fishing boats.

Attacks: Jerusalem – 20:00, in the neighbourhoods of al-Shiyah, Ras al-Amoud, al-Sawana, and Silwan as well as adjacent to the village of Beit Ijza, Israeli Occupation forces fired live ammunition towards protesters.

Attack: Jerusalem – 20:00, Israeli Occupation forces, in the al-Tur neighbourhood, shot and wounded three people.

Attack: Ramallah – 11:45, armed Israeli settlers opened indiscriminate fire, near the eastern entrance to the village of al-Mughayir.

Attack: Ramallah – 19:45, Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, stormed into and patrolled Budrus village.

Attack: Ramallah – 22:00, Israeli forces opened fire, near the entrance to the Ofer refugee camp.

Attack: Ramallah – 22:30, Israeli forces opened fire, near the entrance to Ras Karkar village.

Attack: Jenin – 22:20-07:40, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed into Burqin.

Attack – 3 killed – 2 wounded – 7 taken prisoner: Jenin – 22:20-07:40, the Israeli Army stormed into the Jenin refugee camp and raided homes, while drone-launched missiles hit the streets, killing three people and wounding two others. Seven people were taken prisoner during the raid.

Attacks: Tubas – 09:00-12:00, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed into Tamoun as well as the villages of Tayasir and al-Far’a.

Attack – home invasions – 1 killed – 13 wounded – 6 taken prisoner: Tubas – 09:00-12:00, Israeli troops stormed Tubas, invading homes and killing an elderly person, as well as wounding 13 other residents including a child. Six other people were taken prisoner.

Attacks – 1 killed – 1 taken prisoner: Tubas – 03:35-05:00, the Israeli military stormed into the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading homes and killing an elderly special-needs patient. One person was taken prisoner.

Attack: Qalqiliya – 12:15, Israeli soldiers opened fire towards people, near the northern entrance to Azzun.

Attack – 1 wounded: Nablus – evening, Israeli Occupation forces shot and wounded one person in Odala village.

Attack – 1 wounded: Nablus – 19:50-23:55, Israeli forces stormed the village of Zawata, wounding a villager.

Attack – damage – agricultural sabotage: Hebron – 09:50, an official, from the Karmei Tzur Occupation settlement, opened fire on and damaged the motor vehicle of a working farmer in Beit Ummar.

Attacksettlers: Hebron – 11:25, armed Israelis, from the Bat Ein Occupation settlement, opened fire towards people at the entrance to Surif.

Attack – 1 youngster killed – 1 other person wounded: Hebron – 19:30, Israeli troops, near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, opened fire towards protesters, killing a 16-year-old youth and wounding another person.

Attack: Hebron – 22:55, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, stormed into Sa’ir.

Home invasions

Home invasion: Ramallah – 13:20, the Israeli Army raided the village of Medea and invaded a home.

Home invasion: Jenin – 21:00, Israeli Occupation forces raided Ya’bad and invaded a house.

Home invasion: Nablus – 21:05-06:00, Israeli forces raided Beita and invaded a home.

Occupation settler invasion and seizure of villager’s home: Bethlehem – evening, armed Israeli settlers, in the village of Khalayel al-Lawza, seized possession of a villager’s house.

Home invasion: Hebron – 05:35, the Israeli Army raided Bani Naim and invaded a home.

Israeli Army violence

Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades: Jerusalem – 19:00, Israeli Occupation forces fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades towards protesters, near the Al-Quds University in Abu Dis.

Israeli Occupation population-control: Jerusalem – the Israeli Occupation renewed an order, banning the Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, from entering the rest of the West Bank for the fifth year in a row.

Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, settler militants, escorted by Israeli police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades: Hebron – 18:15, Israeli forces fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades towards protesters in Idhna.

Israeli Army assault with rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades: Hebron – 18:15, the Israeli Army fired rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades at protesters in the Bab al-Zawiya district.

Occupation settler violence – 2 shepherds injured: Qalqiliya – 15:25, Israelis, from the Karnei Shamron Occupation settlement, used sharply bladed weapons to attack two shepherds, injuring them both.

Occupation settler violence – 2 olive harvesters injured: Salfit – evening, armed Occupation settlers, in the Khallet Hassan area, assaulted and injured an olive harvester and his son working on land, between Bidya and the village of Seneria.

Occupation settler racist vandalism: Bethlehem – evening, armed Israelis, from the Takwa Occupation settlement, destroyed the main entrance to the al-Khansaa Mixed Basic School in Tuqu’, and sprayed racist messages in Hebrew. They also stoned people’s homes.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage – plunder: Hebron – 16:20, Israeli settlers invaded agricultural land in the al-Taybeh area, vandalised four agricultural buildings and stole the contents.

Occupation settler mosque violation and population-control: Hebron – Since 8 October, Israeli Occupation forces have kept closed the Ibrahimi Mosque to worshippers.

Leslie Bravery is a Londoner with vivid World War Two memories of the Nazi blitz on his home town.
