Racist wounds have been opened this election that will not heal over next 3 years

The manner in which NZF, ACT and National have race baited this election will cause wounds that will to heal over their possible 3 years in office.

ACT have made it clear their racist referendum to redefine the Treaty and force it upon Māori is a bottom line.

National will pass their gang patch law (that will target Māori more) and NZ First intends to make all domestic gangs terrorist organisations.

Māori have been punching bags once more and the deep fury at how ACT, National and NZF have been allowed to race bait without condemnation has lit a fuse.

This country will become ungovernable if National + ACT + NZF push this referendum.

We are at the abyss this election.

It’s Old Zealand vs New Zealand.

  1. The right are plain dumb, just ban the gang patches of overseas based gangs – Oz, USA etc. On the basis international crime organisations.

  2. Seems to me that Labour’s secret agendas triggered racist scenarios. This lot are a little lot more open. The Greens white-hating predates them too.

  3. These racist wounds were opened by this Labour government when they went against local referenda in installing Māori local government seats against the will of the people. They then twisted the knife by segregating health and finally conjured up the appalling 3 Waters idea where once again there was a racist tinge.

    • Did National split the country in two with their examples of co governance? No they didn’t. You sound like Winston Peters

  4. On the left, a country for all races, on the right, a master race of blonde hair and blue eyes.
So much for a democratic society and open economy.

  5. And for me this is 100% Labours fault, they failed to take the country with them on Co-Governance and the back lash that is coming is all on them. I voted ACT, my father has been waiting 18 months for a heart valve operation and getting worse all the time (cardiologist said it was need within three months 18 months ago), if I find out that his operation was cancelled over and over again because someone with a lesser medical need but the “correct” DNA got an operation before him them then their will be ‘blood on the floor’.

And all this time the best Labour can do is build more flash ivory towers in Wellington with ‘special’ names, fuck them.

    • BobinNZ. I do hope that things pan out ok for your father. I recently advised someone in debilitating pain on a waiting list in Hawkes Bay, to re-identify as Maori. This helps in Christchurch, where clinical staff appear to be under orders to prioritise patients according to ethnicity, rather than on medical grounds or future prognosis.

      • Wow do it must be true if you advised someone. It’s based on health outcomes and ethnicity is like one of a multitude of risk factors.

    • Hey idiot, I’m white and.been.onthe waitlist for two years with a number of push backs. Yes I could have been outsourced to a private hospital like under a previous Nat government to cull the wait list but at who’s expense, yours?
Voting ACT and you think that will solve all your health problems and thinking Maori are being bumped ahead of you based on their colour, is delusional.

  6. This election has shown how racist and politically naive many NZers really are. This is why teaching our history is so important warts and all. Our NZ history can be taught in a positive manner.

  7. So, us (Maori) need to move to Christchurch so, we can get surgery or even on the list.
Postcode health exactly what we are trying to prevent in our country. I would say Chch
has low numbers of Maori even making a lists or surgery for that matter.

  8. If you start a political revolution by restructuring people’s political rights, health rights, legal rights (tikanga) you can expect a backlash.
The last time turning the other cheek was tried in NZ was by the Moriori . You can hardly be surprised the rest of NZ doesn’t want to follow their example
