The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog, 3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.
EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

These are the things at the top of our ‘worry’ agenda:
Dunedin woman caught driving four times over legal limit with daughter in car
New Zealand
and
Police will be able to pursue more fleeing drivers under revamped policy – Police Commissioner
New Zealand
Police revise pursuit policy as fleeing drivers ‘taking more risks’
But our big risk is overspending, miring us in irrecoverable debt (cf USA). We are not in a position to survive the excesses that mercenary financial players and predators are signing us up to.

Words I despise ‘world class travel experience’; ‘future focussed and resilient’; ‘premium outlet centre’. Get up from our knees and sell us how we are. If they don’t like us let the locusts stay away. They may be charming, but are too demanding. We are denuding ourselves for these flighty, tasters of other countries; stare, experience like the peeps at end of Brave New World.
And get them out of Antarctica. Only let people in who will join up with environmental projects and then check their pockets that they aren’t exporting rare lizards or something. Let us have local businesses employing local people, with money loaned at low interest, and money earned going into local trusts administered by local banks that have good reputations – I think ours do but take care, greed is infectious.
