Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist language, homophobic language, racist language, anti-muslim hate, transphobic language, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

    • Ekshully, I’m not sure why the NZ Federales allow themselves to be used in this way, but more fool you Mr Coster also.
MBIE is a Munstry that tries to be Jack of all trades, but will, and can only ever be a master of NONE (as its record to date shows)
It’s full of wanna be, and ex Polis (often “unintentionally biased”, and “I’m not racist BUT….” people. And I excluse the worker bees in that). I’m surprised the lessons of the aftermath of Casson wasn’t a big enough hint.
You can betcha (I’ll put money on it even though I don’t gamble), they’ll keep it up despite what our elected ‘representatives’ intend.
Do yourselves a favour @ Labour, and dismantle this bugger’s muddle or it’ll continue to bite you in the bum

    • Gawd strewth!

If Labour continue to have complete “faith” in their ‘officials’ whose capability only ever extends to this level of muppetry, they’ll get what they deserve. Already they’ve managed to alienate a sizeable and important demographic of their base. Are they masochists? Beat me beat me. ‘Cos you can bet the ‘officials won’t have the decency to resign – they’ve got C.V’s and LinkedIn profiles to maintain, and it’s possible they’re thoroughly nice people.
Apparently it hasn’t yet dawned on many politicians that “nice” people doesn’t necessarily mean they’re competent people.

Productivity is wanted – but not of human beings. This is a meme that leads right to robotisation.

More wet weather is expected for the country this week, as Whakatāne’s total rainfall for the entire month of April falls in the past two days.
Severe weather warnings remain in parts of the country, including Bay of Plenty, Tasman, Buller, Westland and Fiordland.
MetService meteorologist John Law told Morning Report parts of Aotearoa have cleared for now, but there had still been “plenty” of rainfall – and more to come.
“It’s been really slow moving,” Law said.
