Let’s be honest, 2022 has been a shit year, yet somehow Greta’s brutal clapback slam of a toxic dick like Andrew Tate has managed to save the entire year…

…Jesus that’s funny.

The only think funnier than a teenage girl smacking Tate down has been the chorus of outrage from his easily triggered male fan boy snowflake army who have wailed like bitches that Greta is body shaming Tate.

Tate’s popularity is a dangerous brand of masculinity which is a symptom of a deeper malaise of identity for men and while the toxic woke have been part of the animosity which has driven young men into the arms of Tate, watching his fans freak out because a teenage girl mocked their champions penis size only highlights what a fragile and brittle sense of identity they have.

        I’m sure he is fabulous, if only in his own virtual space, and probably has an enterage of millions of worshippers and hangers-on that are only too willing to issue ‘likes’. A disruptor, an influencer, and an entrapren-ooo-ahhh. And a complete wanker no doubt.

        We tend to draw away in horror at young people being used for sex but it may be better than what they can look forward to and having sex isn’t all bad and probably still in the present girls are married off as soon as they reach puberty. If only it was tightly controlled with legislation that forced the hucksters to behave properly, then it could be more like geisha girls, with lovely faces and musical ability, and able to create a relaxing ambience for rich men.

        There are many ways of demeaning and disregarding people and happening right now in NZ to ordinary NZ citizens. Would that we could lock up the proponents and hirelings of the cruel practices that go on, with no overt sex involved.

As a female who provided the sausages for beer guzzling males watching rugby at ungodly hours I should know better, but I have not walked in their canoes. This could change should I decide to transgender and become one of them. The chances of doing so are slimmer now that I have quit the sex/gender obsessed Green Party, and do enjoy wearing frocks, not that that means much unless one is a mad sociologist interpreting them as symbols of racism and oppression; confusing the grandchildren would also be tough on their parents, who face quite a few challenges nowadays. ‘Social influencers’ can do ok for themselves via their followers though. Meghan Markle was one and she captured a prince. Ha ha.

People who perceive Tate as a dangerous individual for promoting masculinity in a day and age where it’s legitimately being killed at government hand by government choice, are people who would willingly suppress another individual for thinking differently about a situation.
    Rather than comparing ideas and opinions about whimsical ideals that you have and that nobody else here really cares about, let’s all focus on being better people.

    The controversial online influencer and misogynist Andrew Tate has been put in pre-trial detention in Romania following his arrest on charges of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

    The former kickboxer and reality TV star, who has been banned from a number of social media platforms for misogynistic comments and hate speech, was arrested alongside his brother and two other suspects.

    On Friday the four suspects were placed in pre-trial detention for 30 days following their arrest late on Thursday, according to a spokesperson for Romania’s anti-organised crime unit.

    Authorities said they had searched five homes as part of the investigation, and released footage of one of the raids, showing riot police entering a luxurious residence. Footage of items seized at the location showed stacks of euro notes and a handgun.

    In a statement, authorities said two British citizens and two Romanians were accused of forming a gang that recruited victims by “misrepresenting their intention to enter into a marriage/cohabitation relationship and the existence of genuine feelings of love”.     The Tate brothers have been under criminal investigation in Romania since April, when police raided their mansion in Bucharest after the US embassy received a tip-off claiming that a 21-year-old American woman was being held there against her will. The Tate brothers were questioned and later released, but the investigation was expanded to cover rape and human trafficking allegations.

    On Friday, Tate posted an apparent reference to his arrest on his recently reinstated Twitter account, writing: “The Matrix sent their agents,” using a term taken from the eponymous blockbuster – whose “red pill” trope has proven popular among misogynistic online groups – for a simulated world that controls humans.

    Prior to the tweet, a spokesperson for Tate told the Daily Mirror he could not provide any details regarding the most recent reports. “However, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.”

    Tate, whose popularity has increased enormously over the past year, has been kicked off numerous social media platforms for posting hate speech and misogyny. Domestic abuse charities have characterised Tate’s views as extreme misogyny, with the potential of radicalising men to commit violence against women. In numerous videos, Tate gives graphic descriptions of violence against women.

    He was banned from Twitter in 2017, after stating that victims of sexual violence should bear some responsibility for the acts. His account was reinstated in November after Elon Musk’s takeover of the company and now has 3.5 million followers.

    Over the past week he has been engaged in a Twitter standoff with the climate activist Greta Thunberg, attempting to troll her by telling her about his large collection of emission-heavy cars. Thunberg responded by implying Tate had “small-dick energy”.

    This prompted Tate to release a two-minute video during which he asked somebody out of shot to bring him pizza and to make sure the boxes were “not recycled”.

    Following online speculation that the brand of pizza featured in the video helped police confirm Tate’s presence in Romania, Thunberg quipped on Twitter that “this is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes”…..

  19. Tate is a pied piper figure on the right, but not as popular as you think. Many reject his shallow money worshipping and philanderous persona. This twitter exchange and subsequent detention in Romania seem as scripted as a WCW wrestling match.

    • Very interesting link @ B A. I agree with Jeremy Corban in his overall description of The Guardian. There are some excellent writers there but there’s also a deeper, and I would write, sinister level to it. I was banned from commenting early on but I keep using The Guardian for source information.

  21. His dad Emory Tate didn’t study chess much but had a natural talent for the game and a super aggressive tactical style which caught a lot of grandmasters out. I chatted to him on line a bit and he really was like a WWE villain, all braggadocio. (“I’m not an Internataional Master, I’m Tate”). Definitely a smart guy, and one of the strongest African American chess players, but he had issues too, like alcohol and cocaine. Can’t imagine he was a good role model.

  22. I don’t know of tate but he sounds hideous. A narcissistic sociopath with a ton of money. What could go wrong? The very worst thing anyone could do to him would be to ignore him, which, for me, won’t be difficult. I have a new dog and I’m going to get a cup of tea and watch her gape in wonderment at slaters beetling about. ( Do beetles then slater about? No wonder she looks confused.)
