After renewed warnings of Covid-19 returning to the community, Brownlee called on the Government to “come clean” on the rate of Covid-19 infections in New Zealand.
…when you have fringe Facebook political parties openly claiming that the virus is a bioweapon spread by 5G, having the deputy leader of the National Party contradict the scientific advice to stock up on masks as a fall back position in case something slips past the border and then have the audacity to suggest the Government is hiding something is outrageous.
National’s desperation is forcing them into dark places.
Brownshirt is one press release away from blaming 5G. This is Trumpian in its delusion.

He is wondering why (like me and a reasonable minority) there is scaremongering going on regarding community transmission when there appears no evidence of it nor can it be brought into the country unless there is significant government ineptitude at the border/quarantine.
It’s like Jacinda, Ash and the labour gang want to keep us in fear the whole time and not discuss any other topic.

National supports private insurance companies and would like state superannuation done away with, ACC privatised and eventually charging all Kiwis for health insurance as they demolish the DHBs.
National and Act would implement an insurance based pension as they would support an insurance based health system.
Both extremely inefficient as shown in the US and leaves many penniless to die on the streets. But more money for capitalist transnational investors pirates.
Where what we need is a State owned insurance company as we had years ago. a state option for Kiwisaver as well as a lot more money injected into the state health system
Just like inflation takes a while to work its way through the economy before the prices of goods rise, Covid19 will take a while to work its way through the health system before a vaccine lowers prices.
If the worry and dread are warranted, then this is the explanation that makes the most sense to me.
Sam the vaccine route has yet to be established as a solution. Similar viruses like Sars have not been contained by vaccine inspite of there being 16 years of working towards a satisfactory vaccine, a quest that has now stalled.
Of course if they didn’t inform you of what could happen and it eventuated Frank, what then?
It is not “scaremongering” to recommend that we keep some face masks ready to use if needed. It is basic common sense. They are now being used in just about every country.

What costs less that 50 cents from China including postage, can sell in a chemist for several dollars even though container freight would be less than a cent or two an item along with bulk buying prices of a few cents each.

Die off by way of viruses, whether planned or inadvertent, makes little difference except how you prepare to prevent it happening.
Human to human spread of a virus mainly depends on how it is transmitted.
Viruses spread by contact or aerosol can be spread within human communities but the spread is accelerated by travel.
In the sailing ship era it took 6 weeks to get from Europe to NZ.
Now a virus can circumnavigate the globe in a day.
So cutting out or cutting back on air travel is a first consideration to provide community protection.
Within communities travel is a potential killer as well.
So locking borders and controlling travel should be tools well explored and made ready for urgent implementation at all times while monitoring the best apolitical sources of alert internationally.
The USA/UK have shown they are not adverse to using nuclear to wipe out local populations and several of their politicians have called for such and the USA has obliterated two cities with nuclear devices as well as poisoned inhabited lands elsewhere with radiation from bombs or depleted uranium weapons, biocides which damage DNA and Monsato’s suite of environmental poisons that damage life and render ground water toxic, while disinformation helps the shareholder oilgarchs to grow richer.
Retaliation has been a deterrent to these sociopathic maniacs from pressing the nuclear button, but wait the US is developing smaller yield nuclear devices and you may well ask what for.
But an infectious virus is a potential weapon but not the only one.
Genetic damage and sterilisation have been tried successfully with the use of faux vaccines. Gates in his Africa campaign has shown the potential of clandestine sterilisation. Areas within the USA have been irradiated and research set up to find out more about how that effects humans.
The hope inferred by so called space programs suggesting colonisation of other celestial bodies is all utter crap and offered to create confusion.
I won’t go into why leaving this Earth to live elsewhere is not an option except we have evolved on this planet over 3 billion odd years.
Apart from not surviving anywhere else no matter what support systems are envisaged, the resources and energy needed is not available and will never be available.
The handful of predatory parasitic banksters and oligarchs who rule the planet, by any morality deserve to die.
The rest of us need to urgently impose reproductive restraints on all humans and reorganise our “economies” to use much much less resources and a fraction of the energy we consume, let wilderness expand, decrease our herds of domestic animals and let the sea recuperation start.
We won’t stop climate warming but need to stop adding to it immediately.
Our nuclear moment is a gross understatement.
