Bernie has won Nevada convincingly, much to the stunned shock of establishment Democratic pundits.
Watching CNN try and under play Sanders latest win is the best TV right now – Fox News actually give Bernie more respect than CNN!
Bernie has won large support from a diverse electorate because the focus is always on the economic impact of capitalism, not the identity politics of difference.
Sanders win shows class left politics can unify and recruit far more than identity politics can.
Working Americans know how rigged their system is, they want free education and free health – that’s why Sanders is winning. Only his positive populism can electorally beat Trump’s negative populism of xenophobia and walls in the working classes that Democrats need to win over to take the Presidency in 2020.
God I want a Trump vs Sanders election.
If Bernie isn’t cheated out of the nomination , or meet with an unfortunate accident , he will beat Donald Trump in the presidential , and no one else in the Democrats lineup would come near. And Donald will be quite happy about that. far more so than to loose to anyone else in the lineup except perhaps Tulsi, but the US doesn’t seem to have woken up to what they have there. Hopefully Bernie will make her vice president so if he expires she will be there.

Almost too much to hope for–Bernie! on “last chance power drive”–but of course he has a movement aligned with multiple other movements across the USA that might just be able to do it.
He is “unelectable” (apart from Primaries and Caucuses) according to the pundits, and that term as consistently used by Bernie supporter Michael Moore, cuts deep to the heart of this existential shit fight for USA politics. The “pundits” are fuckers of the first order. All other Dem candidates apart from Sanders will swallow a ‘brokered’, bent convention going by the last TV debate. So Latinos, African Americans, first peoples Indigenous, migrants, and thankfully, increasing numbers of working class whites, will likely support the Sanders Campaign.
Nevada shows that at last traditional DNC power bases can be shaken–union heads overuled by members-as it effing should be!

1. Yes The american economy is strong and good for Trump.At the moment…..
However being around a year away from a corona virus vaccine is problematic for Trump . I predict six months from now the US and world economic and political landscape will be very different. .Just look at the price of gold skyrocketing now as investment capital moves to tangible assets .[ Even in NZ the political utility of Nationals proposed tax cuts in a badly effected Carona economy will show be poor management and play to Labour. You give away tax refunds when in surplus but not when the economy is in massive contraction ,your Govt income is substantially reduced and your support and economic rescue costs have increased .]
2. Some 40% of Americans don’t vote in elections because they are completely disillusioned . However if a fair percentage of that 40 % have a genuine reason to vote , and the youth of America get inspired to vote for Bernie , for a planet to live on , then the pie chart of voter distribution may radically change .My prediction is that if Bernie is selected as presidential nominee for the Democrats ,its the current non vote that will tip Trump out .
3.The elite establishment democrats and MSM will throw everything at it to stop Bernie becoming the nominee, Hillary managed to twist the system and cheat him at the last election . Let us hope his strategy team has learnt from the past manipulations including electronic vote rigging .
