This week, the news media appeared to notice Gaza again, reporting a deadly Israeli incursion and air strikes, as well as retaliatory missile-firings by Palestinian Resistance fighters. In the public mind, the news would have created an impression of violence ‘once more’ erupting in Gaza and disturbing a period of ‘relative calm’. Nothing could be further from the reality of Israel’s determined, relentless, day-to-day (and nightly) persecution of Gaza.
…maybe we should, you know, get back to that whole China influencing our politics thing in light of new allegations that the Academic who is outing this assault on our democracy may have had her car sabotaged…
“ROGERNOMICS” is political shorthand for the neoliberal economic policies introduced by Labour’s finance minister, Roger Douglas, between 1984 and 1988. While most New Zealanders have heard of Rogernomics, nowhere near as many have heard of its inseparable companion, “Rogerpolitics”.

This is the time to be activist with your Ministries, what the hell was the point of going into Government as a Green Minister if it is merely to rubber stamp flawed free market regulations?
We should not be arresting cannabis reform documentary makers, surely we are going backwards here?
