I hope so too, get the popcorn ready!!!
If Maori don’t see the Maori party as being representative of them, pushing Mana with the Maori party to suddenly make a “voice” for Maori is not going to work. Most Maori don’t trust the Maori party, why ruin and destroy Mana to make the Maori party credible? The Maori party is a vote for National, no matter how people want to look at it, and they have supported people being made homeless and the most punitive reforms that have only hurt people, particularly Maori.
Hone will not go with National under any circumstance – Mana voters know this. if Mana form an alliance with the Maori party, this fact may again break it.
Yep.
They seem to have got NZ First motivated to show their differences not only to the Nats, but also Labour, as I heard during Parliament’s Question Time today. Well, it was rather the debate afterwards, that got Ron Mark annoyed about Labour now raising immigration as a major challenge for the country, as he sees this as NZ First “territory”.
The polls and the issues of housing and immigration, low wage growth, housing unaffordability and social division, they are shaking up the political landscape now.
Yep.
