No Frank the party leadership did not allow the overspend, they didn’t know about it. Once they were informed by the parliamentary oversight authority they sprung into action. The question is how did the parliamentary oversight committee lose oversight over Mariameno’s spending, and overspending? Pretty shameful looking on the outside. Also looks like there is some kind of coup going on which includes Ferris, also another one who looks like he is putting his ego and racist bullshit first.
