The Polling is clear – most Kiwis now understand it is this Government who are to blame for the economic crash we are witnessing in real time…

…and Kiwis believe it’s going in the wrong way…

…look.

It was Matthew Hooton of all people who made the point that National no longer have any actual philosophical values, that they have been utterly bought out by their donors interests and those donors manufacture talking points through astroturf proxies like Taxpayers’ Union, The NZ Initiative, The Atlas Network, The Campaign Company, The Free Speech Union, Federated Farmers and Groundswell which are amplified by ZB and NZ Herald.

You have been tricked by culture war revenge fantasies and social media hate algorithms to believe bullshit while the donors interests are pushed through.

Now GDP has crashed, the economy has crashed and your house prices have crashed.

National, ACT and NZF are NOT your friends, their friends are their donors and no one else.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

      • Wait!!…what?..Surely Willis caaaaan’t be wrong ….

Especially seeing that she studied English Literature…that must have helped prepare her to run the finances of a country…

And double especially seeing as her boss …the … “I’m great with numbers” and “I’m not going to be lectured to by Labour on how to run the economy” guy has given her carte blanche.

And triple especially seeing as the Associate Minister of Finance…the 40 year old virgin…Seymour…the guy who knows everything about everything has contibuted to the carnage.

Let us not forget, that under Labour, Robertson and Parker had us on track to be back in surplus by mid 2027 with a near full workforce…remarkable considering the destructive affect Covid had on ALL economies around the world and the amout of lives saved in N. Z.per capita.

The chickens always come home to roost…The Coalition of Clusterfuckery are now fried and have taken the country down with it!

        • Yes that line ” I won’t be lectured by Labour is a crackup” given Luxon crashed Air NZ and has never been part of a political party in his life!
Chris you need to be lectured by Labour because what you are doing now with whoever advises you has broken our country.

  1. You do better to move away from arguments that try to justify the culture war, which was a massive own goal for self-styled progressives (for they are not Left), and put the blame squarely on National and their accomplices.

They have professed a level of economic competence for generations, and mocked prosocial policies, claiming to know better – well the numbers are in – and they don’t know shit. They need their faces rubbed in that until they understand that Keynes never ran a deficit, and they’ve run nothing but – they’re not fit to lick his boots, and they need to learn a great deal more before they are fit for even the most junior role in NZ government. And their Treasury enablers should all be sacked on the spot – if you can’t make predictions better than chance you can be more economically replaced by a coin toss.

The culture wars are irrelevant – and they were always irrelevant – neither votes nor morality in any of it.

    • Women welcomed at the top – so they can be blamed when having been led on and praised to the heights, they are found to have mucked up?

Similar with Maori names on everything – so the pakeha and neolib gummint can muck up and everyone thinks it was because we have gone completely Maori. No such thing, but the incorrect ideas fuel the anti Treaty prejudice. Nothing is too low for scheming richies full of their own juice. The beggar in the street today couldn’t accept
a carton of dried noodles because he has nowhere to heat it. He’s all right, he is unblushingly honest, he is forced to be. practical. Jeff Ep…n had to depart because he couldn’t face honesty, it was a killer in his world which was similar to the mindset of many of our elected reps I think.

    • My god Bob the first needs to read this and learn something on economics. Willis is full of shit, Douglas knows it treasury knows it, everyone knows it except Bob and his imaginary economists. Willis needs to resign because her ego gets in the way of her inability to realize she is unqualified to be in finance.

    • If when their is an economic crisis the new policy plan is just the ideas lying around at the time, let’s hope Labour doesn’t pick up Roger Douglas’s ideas again. What other ideas are being inserted into the media to be found lying around at the time?

Surely Labour has something more than ‘may be a cgt a could fix it’.

  2. Luxon is an empty corporate suit doing his best to channel his mentor John but meaningless corporate drivel just doesn’t cut it when it comes to running a country.
