Why wishing for Trump’s death is bad

The excited frenzy the liberal social media world felt at the mere rumour Trump had dried is totally understandable.

The Identity Politics Woke have managed to alienate so many against the Democrats that only Death could stop Trump now.

So I appreciate the desperation, but the truth is that wishing for Trump’s death is bad.

Not because it’s a moral failing on you behalf for wishing the death of another human being, oh sweet Jesus no, some people absolutely deserve to die and their death celebrated.

Trump has easily crossed that line long ago, no, you should not wish for Trump’s death because JD Vance would be far more dangerous if he took power after Trump’s demise.

Where as  Trump is a narcissist focused on his own blowhard grandeur, JD is intelligent, strategic and brings a real Handmaid’s Tale vibe to American Politics.

Vance is a vassal to Thiel and a vehicle for white Christian Nationalism.

If Trump dies and is replaced by Vance, we are in far more danger.

  1. The thing about Vance is that he is yet to demonstrate any particular resonance with the MAGA base.

He may prove to be a major pain in the Left’s bum, but to date he’s just another mouthy righty in a market rather oversupplied with them.

  2. Meh I don’t think JD has the charisma to hold MAGA together, most people seem to think we weird nerd. That’s probably why (aside from his ego) Trump wants to find a way to run again

  3. Trump has dried? The hearers pulled out their hankies and buried their faces in them appearing to dry their eyes and mask their smiles.

  4. To want Trump to die gives your opponents the permission to want leaders on your side to die. And given the right’s predisposition to violence, they are much more likely to believe it’s acceptable to accelerate that process.

  5. Your headline had me thinking that you have been reading the sermon on the mount, the rest of your article gave another realistic explanation though.
I vote for what I consider the least worst option as I don’t completely agree with any of the current options.
