Holocaust Centre condemns John Tamihere saying Govt ‘worse than Nazi Germany’
The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand is condemning Te Pāti Māori president John Tamihere’s claim that the Government is “worse than Nazi Germany”, saying the comment is “harmful at worst” and radicalises political discourse.
Tamihere’s remark came as he appeared on The Bradbury Group’s politics podcast this week, hosted by media commentator Martyn Bradbury, which discussed Labour’s re-election chances in 2026.
Speaking alongside fellow guest Labour MP Arena Williams, Tamihere lamented rates of immunisation in Māori communities before criticising the Government’s “bully-boy mentality”, claiming academics suggesting alternative economic opinions were “beat up”.
“This is worse than Nazi Germany, this is a fascist regime that has to be removed,” Tamihere said.
The very first editorial from the NZ Herald called for white people to go to war with Māori, let’s never forget that and this pearl clutching, tone policing zionist apologist NZ Herald hit piece on The Bradbury Group is as tedious as it is farcical.
Israel is committing a realtime ethnical cleansing war crime genocide, perhaps a tad more attention on that and less trying to paint Tamihere as an anti-semite is called for?

Since the Five Eyes Network is an intelligence sharing network, this presumably means that our security inteligence services have been privy to this secret evidence.

And, if not, why not?
If Andrew Hampton the current Director-General admits he has seen this secret evidence, does he think it is credible? Yes/No
If Andrew Hampton replies that he thinks this secret evidence is credible, will he be asked; are our police and security services investigating whether criminal gangs in this country have been or are being approached with cash offers to commit anti-Semitic attacks? Yes/No

Tamiheri needs people on his side not against him if the Maori party wants to be recognized as a responsible party . Lets face it he has a big nasty mouth .I watched that comment and knew straight away it would come back to haunt the platform. Arena Williams was fantastic a real voice for the future the spotlight should have been on her not nasty John . As a supporter of the left I can see comments like that unfortunately re-electing this awful government.
I have written to the holocaust centre several times to ask why they still have a piece up on-line that is total lies. It was put out by Deborah Hart and is about what happened in Amsterdam. Only she has never bothered removing it or putting a correction underneath when we found out it was the exact opposite of what was originally reported.
To be totally frank I am tired of the endless stuff about the holocaust. I know 6 million Jews were killed it is appalling. But there are many Jews now supporting what is happening to Palestinians and that is a bloody disgrace. I am not at all surprised if there is a rise in anti-semitism anywhere but I wouldn’t ever want to take their word for it.
