Merciless blitz on starving Gaza — growing numbers

Victims 23–24 August 2025:
64 more killed and 278 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile–launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 64 dead and 278 wounded. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 62,686 and the total wounded is at least 157,951. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 229. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 22:30, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire, from the Annexation Wall near al-Ram, on people making their way to work in Jerusalem, wounding and hospitalising a man: Fadi Suleiman Muhammad Bani Odeh.
Israeli settler attack: Ramallah – 22:10, armed Israeli Occupation settlers, opening fire indiscriminately, stormed the village of al-Tira.
Israeli Army attack – refugee camp: Jenin – 12:20, Israeli Occupation forces continued with their storming, firing live ammunition, of the city and its refugee camp.
Israeli Army attack – refugee camps – home invasions: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continue to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, invading and occupying homes.
Home invasions – 1 taken prisoner: Ramallah – 15:05 (on 22nd) –16:30 (on 23rd), Israeli Occupation forces continued their raid on the village of al-Mughayir, closing the eastern and western entrances to the village, invading dozens of houses and taking prisoner a resident.
