I have misgivings about this.

Sky TV have never put any resource into politics or news.

They have a billion different shows on Pacific Rugby, but sweet fuck all for decades into current affairs.

Put the Country TV station to one side, and I honestly think The Bradbury Group on Channel 83 is the ONLY locally produced political show on the entire Sky NZ network!

Sky TV gaining TV3 is an additional responsibility to their fourth estate obligations, but they are obligations Sky TV have never taken seriously!

With the election next year, Sky TV has to step up on the political and current affairs front.
