59 more killed and 208 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in another 59 dead and 208 wounded people. Civil Defence crews retrieved nine more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 57,882. The total wounded is now at least 138,095. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 89 and, that of those injured, is more than 213. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

The United Nations warns that the fuel shortage in Gaza has reached critical levels.

Fuel is the backbone of survival in Gaza. It powers hospitals, water systems, sanitation networks, ambulances and every aspect of humanitarian operations. Fuel supplies are needed to move the fleet used for transporting essential goods across the Strip and to operate a network of bakeries producing fresh bread for the affected population. Israeli settler attack – 2 killed and others, including a youngster, wounded or beaten+: Ramallah – 17:50, armed Occupation settlers invaded the Tal al-Batin Mountain area, south of Sinjil, shooting and killing two residents: Saif al-Din Kamil Abd al-Karim Muslat and Muhammad Rizq Hussein al-Shalabi. Seven other people were variously wounded or beaten and injured: 17–year–old Dhaif Allah Kamel Amin; Hani Krom Saad; Muhammad Arif al-Zak; Omar Awni Dheeb; Muhammad Rizq Shalabi; Yazan Abdullah Zubeidi and Abdullah Ayman Zubeidi.
