Bhahaha – Matua Shane Jones went to sell NZ to gas and oil industry but they were more worried he would lose election!!!

Matua Shane Jones was in Singapore last week announcing an enormous change in oil and gas exploration policy that no one seems to have told the domestic population of NZ about yet.

It appears the Government plans to remove restrictions that previously limited oil and gas exploration to defined block offer areas and instead allow oil and gas companies to apply for exploration permits across all of New Zealand’s territory.

Matua Shane announced this change to the International Oil and Gas Industry before he has told anyone here that’s what he is planning.

Why are we finding out that Matua Shane is removing oil and gas exploration restrictions to encompass all of NZs territory before he’s even told us?

Shane Jones does understand we have the internet in NZ right?

What’s most hilarious is that while Shane went to capitulate to the oil and gas industry, they’re main concern was that he would lose the next election…

International investors concerned about coalition’s future – Shane Jones

Minister of Resources Shane Jones is back from his trip to Singapore, where he spoke to more than 400 executives about New Zealand’s oil and gas investment opportunities at the Asia Pacific Energy Capital Assembly.

Speaking to Te Ao Māori News, he said that International investors had concerns about the National, Act, and New Zealand First coalition potentially losing in next year’s elections.

…so we can fight back and force these exploitative industries out of New Zealand after all?

    Looks like his reputation is none too shiny and has preceded him.
    That will be the case for all of NZF and ACT and for a good many in National too.

  3. Well they know that he was never elected in the first place and is just a coat tailing mouth piece for his doners .They also know he also represents the river of filth and his party only represents 8% of the voters even after having heaps cash thrown at them .

  5. Greens type people I spoke to are incredulous at Shane. They reckon the oil and gas don’t want to come back here anyway. But we are getting short on gas I think so perhaps he wants to keep his options and his mouth open. Then there are the nodules. And they might find some use for that deep sea coral the trawlers have smashed up. So Shane wants to be where the action is I think.

    If New Zealand was a democratic country, Ruth Richardson wouldn’t be being given an honor. She’d be fleeing with only the clothes on her back to seek asylum in Miami, or buried in the deepest dungeon at Wiri prison.
