61 more killed and 397 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 61 dead and 397 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved 6 more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 55,493. The total wounded is now at least 129,320. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 89 and, that of those injured, is more than 209. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 4 wounded: Jerusalem – Israeli Occupation forces on the Annexation Wall near al-Ram opened fire on people making their way to work across the Green Line wounding and hospitalising four of them, Talat Zidan Jaradat, Ahmed Hamad Awad, Mazen Muhammad Khamayseh and Mustafa Muhammad Shalash.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 23:00, Israeli forces in the al-Tur neighbourhood, firing live ammunition, seriously wounded a resident, Adi Fadi Abu Juma.

Israeli Army attacksrefugee camp: Jenin – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continued storming the city and the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attacks: Jenin – 14:55, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition raided and patrolled the towns of Silat al-Harithiya and Burqin.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – refugee camps: Tulkarem – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continue storming the city and the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, variously searching, demolishing and occupying homes. One resident, Ziad Al-Jallad, was wounded.

Israeli Army attack: Nablus – 23:10, Israeli settlers, firing live ammunition, invaded the outskirts of the town of Beita and raided a farm, destroying the security locks.

Home invasion and robbery: Ramallah – 09:20, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Burqa and invaded a house, taking prisoner a resident and robbing the householder of cash worth the equivalent of around US $2500 and gold valued at approximately US $38,500.

Home invasion and occupation: Ramallah – 11:30, Israeli forces raided the village of al-Mughayir, occupied a house and turned it into a military post.

Israeli Occupation church violation: Jerusalem – Israeli forces continued the closure of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre under its declared state of emergency following the Israeli attack on Iran.

Israeli Army violence child injured: Jenin – 21:10, Israeli troops raided the town of al-Yamoun, injuring a 15-year-old boy, Mahdi Riyad Labadi.

Israeli Army violence severe injury: Nablus – 22:45, a resident of the Askar refugee camp, Ammar Jamal Al-Ashqar, was admitted to hospital after being severely beaten by the Occupation forces.

Israeli Occupation mosque violation: Hebron – Occupation forces continued to close the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City under its declared state of emergency following the Israeli attack on Iran.

Occupation settler stoning: Ramallah – 12:55-14:00, Israeli Occupation settlers stoned passing vehicles on the al-Ma’arjat Road, east of al-Taybeh.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 14:10, Israeli settlers invaded Qusra town agricultural land and demolished three farm buildings.

Occupation settler water crime and agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 10:20, Occupation settlers cut off water pipe lines and vandalised crops by the Matwi road between Salfit and Bruqin.

Occupation settler pastoral sabotage: Jericho – 14:00, Israeli settlers destroyed a livestock shelter in the al-Ma’arjat area.

In 1947/1948 His father explained to him what was happening to the Palestinians thus: “Any ideology or political movement that creates refugees in the process of realising its ambitions must be inhuman and should be opposed and condemned as unacceptable.” What followed confirmed this assessment of the Zionist entity a hundredfold.
