First settler child. ‘ Daddy the commandment says ‘thou shalt not steal’ does it not?
Father, ‘Shut up and eat your ice cream.’
Second settler child. ” Uncle, the other commandment says ‘ thou shalt not kill’.
Third Settler child. ‘Yes, and there is one about ‘thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods – does that mean their land as well.”
Father, Oh God! Who teaches you kids this stuff?’
” Dad, you just uttered the name which must not be taken in vain. Now we have to stone you to death.’

At the Rest Camp near Jaffa allied servicemen were warned not to go alone into the city after dark because gangs of young Jews waited to beat up British servicemen. Why?

My dear old dad later visited Jerusalem where Gaby’s grandmother threw boiling water over him from her second story apartment and Gaby’s grandfather spat on him while he was waiting for a bus. Having finished his leave period he returned to unit to keep fighting to keep these same people out of the gas chambers and crematoriums.
Israel was founded in hatred and remains true to its roots.
