National guard troops arrive in LA

National guard troops have arrived in Los Angeles, according to footage broadcast by news network ABC7.

The video showed troops in the downtown area of the city, ahead of an expected demonstration near City Hall.

They were also seen making their way through the Paramount area of LA, near Alondra and Orange.

Trump has done it, he’s sent the National Guard into California to enrage those protesting against the latest secret police immigration sweep, a move Californian Governor Gavin Newsom has already criticised while Trump acolytes fantasies about seeing in the marines…

California’s governor Gavin Newsom has said the potential deployment of US marines would be “deranged”, after it was threatened by the secretary of defence.

“The Secretary of Defense is now threatening to deploy active-duty Marines on American soil against its own citizens. This is deranged behavior,” Newsom wrote on X.

Earlier Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump’s controversial and hardline defense secretary, had raised the possibility of deploying US marines onto the streets of the Democrat-run state amid the protests that had erupted in the wake of Ice raids in the state.

…Trump wants to use protests as an excuse to turn the Military on his own people.

This has always been his plan. Cause so much chaos that protests get out of hand so he has the excuse of a heavy handed military response.

    • They probably are paid, as in working their arses off doing work others don’t want to do and now they are being treated like criminals. They need to ship out Trump. Epsteins Island is probably somewhere he is familiar with.

  2. One would expect this type of action in Russia or North Korea or China … but USA? How have the US population led things slip so badly? Trump is simply seeking to distract from his bitch slapping from Elon Munter Musk.

    • It is uncommon but has happened before during race protests and anti Vietnam War.In 1970 4 students were shot dead at Kent University. It is no surprise a person who was able to pull strings to avoid service acts tough when getting others to fight his battles

  4. The irony was when the National guard was desperately required with the Jan 6 insurrection Trump was nowhere to be seen. This dictator knows no bounds.

    • In fact, it was Nancy Pelosi who was in charge of security in that instance, and she refused requests add security.

  5. Californians are likely to die from US Military fire unless there is significant nationwide action on this debacle.

    The Democrats should be leading the charge but they won’t, so it is up to the streets to send the message–withdraw ICE and National Guard now. Do some of those guards really want to shoot fellow citizens and long standing migrants?
