Merciless blitz on starving Gaza — growing numbers

95 more killed and 304 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 95 dead and 304 wounded. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 54,772 and the total wounded to at least 125,834. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.
Israeli Army attack on refugee camp – 4 taken prisoner: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued their storming of the refugee camp. Four more people taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack on refugee camps – homes destroyed: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, demolishing 106 buildings and homes (48 houses in Nur Shams refugee camp and 58 apartment buildings in the refugee camp).
Home invasions: Tulkarem – 16:25, Israeli Occupation forces raided the village of Ramin and searched two homes.

Occupation settler invasion – threat to land: Hebron – 17:25, Israeli settlers set up camp in the Umm Nir area, near the village of Susiya, dismantling and taking away a fence surrounding the land.
