Israel Will Block Greta Thunberg’s Boat From Reaching Gaza: IDF Chief
Israel’s government has ordered the country’s military to intercept the humanitarian ship carrying Greta Thunberg and other activists to Gaza and stop it from reaching the embattled territory.
“I have instructed the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] to act so that the Madleen does not reach Gaza, and to take whatever measures are necessary to that end,” Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement published on X, formerly Twitter, on Sunday, referring to the vessel carrying the Swedish activist.
Before the latest spasm of unjustifiable violence by the Israeli’s I would have thought Greta was ‘safe’ by being part of the latest activism to bring aid directly to Palestine.
Previously the IDF have been very happy to butcher activists, but Greta is special and I would have thought while they may have threatened her, they wouldn’t hurt her.
I’m no so sure of that position any longer…
Greta Thunberg says Israeli forces have ‘kidnapped’ her as forces board Gaza-bound boat
The organisers of a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid ship carrying activists including Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg said Israeli forces boarded the vessel this afternoon.
“Connection has been lost on the ‘Madleen’. Israeli Army have boarded the vessel,” the Freedom Flotilla Coalition posted on Telegram, referring to the ship.
AFP lost contact with the activists on board.
Israel had vowed to prevent the ship from reaching Gaza.
…the IDF and the Israelis are in a terrible dark place of revenge right now without any concern for human dignity or life, the BBCs latest investigation into the war crimes, ethnic cleansing and genocide of Israel shows the scale of dehumanisation they are prepared to commit.
I fear they would almost enjoy hurting her.

Filthy IDF butchers. Greta and co may well pay a horrible personal cost for this act of solidarity with Palestine. In a better world the gutless EU countries would have given her a naval escort, I have not even seen a statement from the Swedish Govt. in support yet.
‘Sweden still recovering from Assange. Switzerland keeps away from politics it isn’t politic. France is maintaining a stanch nuclear support, Germany was trying to set a better example. They are being pulled in different ways and their suit buttons are popping. I don’t think we ever recovered equilibrium since WW2; just a pause and a lessening of aggression, bloodshed put the fires out eventually. But there were such good business opportunities in war – such profit in it, though wise prophets have warned us about the hallucinatory effect of profit.

In a better world, the EU would know that Hamas terrorists were building, occupying and running violent raids from right beneath the Emergency Entrance of their hospital in Khan Yunis. We have heard no condemnation of these filthy butchers from either the EU of the UN. Apart for being made to watch Hamas video footage of the Oct 7th massacre before being deported, Greta and friends should be made to have a tour of the tunnels of death beneath the hospital where here hero Mohammad Sinwar and his cronies met their demise. Poor dear needs a reality check and something to take back to Sweden to reflect on.

Just remember, if you criticize the head of the New Zealand Jewish Council, Juliet Moses, for cheering on the starvation of Gazans and the blocking of aid ships, or if you criticize those jews in New Zealand who have failed to remove this disgusting creature from the head of their nationwide organization, that would be antisemitic. And a single antisemitic word or antisemitic Palestinian flag is far, far worse than bombing tens of thousands of people into little bits, kidnapping thousands more and raping and torturing them in many cases to death, as those who defend the existence of ‘israel’ support. You may not verbally criticize the chosen people let alone raise your hand against them in self-defence as Hamas did on October 7.
Next minit a photo of her wearing a kippah and chanting Torah at her own Bat mitzvah renouncing all opposition to Israel along with total support for the genocide in Gazza. The IDF in black hoods will not appear in the photo.
Probably more useful to them alive than dead
While it seems obvious that the Israeli government doesn’t want people to see what they are doing in Gaza I thought that they might have tried a propaganda show with a special guided tour for Greta and friends to deceive people. I guess that they have made such a mess there so that is not an option, or they know that Greta is a lot smarter than the usual suspects that comment here supporting Israel.

They would enjoy it – but will probably just intimidate, threaten, and imprison her for a short period of time in the hope of triggering some mental harm and trauma.
The people who are most gagging to see her harmed are not in Israel though. They are the non-jewish, far-right Israel-supporters in the West who are climate change deniers, ‘libertarians’ (i.e. authoritarians), white-supremacists and ironically in some cases occasionally antisemitic (in the accurate sense of not wanting Jews to live in the West). In NZ they also hate the Treaty, Jacinda and climate scientists. This crowd are most likely already having dark, sadistic, sexualised fantasies in their heads about what they would do to Thunberg given the chance
Apparently she has been well treated but don’t let that get in the way of your usual narrative. Maybe she’ll get a good view of the nice new carpark in the West Bank before she’s deported.
