37 more killed and 136 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 37 people dead and 136 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved 5more bodies from underneath bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 54,418. The total wounded is now at least 124,190. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
Haaretz: Eyewitnesses told Associated Press that thousands of people headed towards the food distribution site hours before dawn, congregating at the Flag Roundabout, about a kilometre away, as they waited for the site to open. They said Israeli forces ordered people to disperse and come back later – before opening fire. An Associated Press reporter saw dozens of people being treated at the hospital.
Dr Hamdi al-Najjar, a physician at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, has died from wounds sustained in an Israeli airstrike on his home that killed nine of his children, medical officials said. Colleagues told several media outlets that al-Najjar and his family had no ties to Hamas.
West Bank
Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 3 taken prisoner: Jenin – 22:40, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, stormed the village of Fahma, taking prisoner three residents.
Israeli Army attacks – plunder – refugee camps: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its storming of the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, raiding Fakhr al-Din cashexchanges and plundering them of money and jewellery. Opening fire and patrolling, Israeli forces carried on demolishing homes and other buildings.
Israeli Army attacks – 1 man wounded and then beaten–up – 2 wounded: Jericho – 21:00, Israeli troops shot, and wounded in the foot, a man, Bashar Jadoua, while they were setting up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city. Another man, Rami Khaled Salem Abu Hadidi, was also shot and wounded and then severely beaten-up by Israeli soldiers.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage and population–control violence: Ramallah – 19:45, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded agricultural land between Ni’lin and the village of Qibya, grazing their sheep over crops while assaulting farmers and forcing them off their land.

Occupation settler terrorism: Salfit – 17:15, Occupation settlers invaded Deir Ballut agricultural land and raised Israeli flags around the area.
Occupation settler agricultural, pastoral and water sabotage: Jericho – on Saturday, Israeli settlers grazed their camels among Shallal al-Auja community homes and destroyed the fodderneeded for the residents’ livestock. The settlers also emptied people’s water- storage tanks.
Occupation settler stoning: Bethlehem – 19:30, Israeli Occupation settlers, accompanied by Israeli troops, invaded the outskirts of Khalayel Al-Loz village and stoned homes.
