Victims 30–31 May 2025:

60 more killed and 284 wounded

Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 60 dead and 284 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved one more body, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 54,381. The total wounded is now at least 124,054. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 90 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attacks – refugee camp: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city and the refugee camp.

Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Jenin – 13:20-14:40, Israeli forces stormed and patrolled the village of Sanur, wounding two resident: Muhammad Walid Subaih and his daughter, Elia.

Israeli Army attacks – home invasions: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its storming of the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, occupying more homes and other property.

Israeli settlers shooting towards child: Salfit – 18:30, armed Israeli Occupation settlers opened fire towards a 14-year-old suffering with mental illness, Muhammad Othman Al-Najjar, who was then detained by Israeli troops and then released.

Home invasion: Ramallah – 17:05, Israeli Occupation forces raided Birzeit and invaded a home.

Home invasions and population–control: Jenin – 14:00, Israeli troops forced two residents, Ahmad Khaliliya and Mujahid Jarar, to destroy their tent–dwellings and livestock shelters, near the ruins of the evacuated Tarsala settlement close to the village of Ajja, forcing them to evacuate the area completely.

Home invasions: Salfit – 01:10–03:40, the Israeli Army, raiding the city as well as the Askar and Ein Beit al-Ma’ refugee camps, invaded a number of houses.

Home invasion and occupation: Hebron – 18:50, Israeli Occupation forces set up a post on the roof of a house, near the Old City Al-Kassara road junction.

Israeli Army road–rage: Jenin – 03:20, an Israeli military vehicle struck and damaged a bus, carrying the families of Palestinian prisoners, in front of the Governorate Building in the city.

Israeli Army and Occupation government assertion of authority: Jenin – 17:00, Israeli Occupation forces, accompanying the Minister of Defence, Yisrael Katz, the Head of the Northern West Bank Settlements Council, Yossi Dagan, the Commander of the Central Command and the Head of the Civil Administration and the area around the ruins of the Tarsala settlement, following the Occupation government’s approval of its return as part of 22 new settlements to be added to those of Homesh and Sanur.

Israeli Army population–control: Tubas – 11:40, Israeli forces, in the Khallet al-Arkan area of Atouf village, ordered a resident, Fakhri Abu Suhaib Bani Odeh, to evacuate it.

Israeli Army population–control: Tulkarem – 09:30, the Israeli Army prevented Ramin village residents, as well as other people, from entering and working their land between the Beit Lid road junction and the Einav checkpoint.

Israeli Army agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 09:50, Israeli troops bulldozed crops on agricultural land, near the entrance to Duma village, and uprooted a number of olive trees.

Israeli Army stun grenades and agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 14:55, after Israeli settlers had assaulted farmers working Sarta village farmland group who managed to resist them, Occupation forces intervened, firing stun grenades and uprooting newly–planted olive seedlings.

Occupation settlement development: Ramallah – Israeli Occupation settlers continued work on establishing a new settlement outpost 500 metres from the village of al-Mughayir, setting up a tent–dwelling and added security.

Occupation settlement development: Nablus – 19:35, Israeli settlers established a new settlement outpost, at the entrance to Duma village, and connected it to the electricity supply.

Occupation settlement development: Jericho – 17:30, Israeli settlers established a new settlement outpost opposite the al-Auja waterfall.

Occupation settlement development: Hebron – 15:30, Israelis, from the Occupation Bnei Hefer settlement, placed mobile homes on agricultural land, in the Masafer area in Bani Na’im.

Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 11:30, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded the Rafid Plain area, north of al-Mughayir village, cutting down and uprooting approximately 30 olive trees.

Occupation settler violence: Ramallah – 18:50, Israeli settlers invaded the outskirts of Khirbet Abu Falah village and assaulted a number of villagers, who managed to defend themselves.

Occupation settler population–control: Salfit – 10:50, armed Occupation settlers prevented the movement of vehicles, on al-Matwi Road between Salfit and Bruqin.

Occupation settler and Israeli Army agricultural sabotage: Salfit – 14:55, a group of settlers entered the al-Nawamis area in the village of Sarta and attacked people while they were working on their land. The people were able to confront the settlers and force them to withdraw. Immediately, Occupation forces intervened and fired stun grenades and tear gas at the people. They also uprooted newly–planted olive seedlings.
